Love this place, the food is delicious. The fries are so good and the burgers are big and juicy and so worth the price. They also have onion rings and milkshakes with different flavors. They also serve beer, wine, and other drinks. It feels like walking straight to a 1950's diner. Service is fast and they were all kind and awesome. Kids get a menu that has a coloring page along with crayons. My nieces loved it. Totally recommended it.
This is my new favorite place, I had the Frisco Burger on Sour dough bread sauteed onions it was so good! And the portion sizes are HUGE. Staff is super friendly the atmosphere is fun. We even splurged in a banana split. I highly recommend this place.

I tried the "Caramel Crunch" milkshake, and it was the perfect sweet treat to complement my meal.Definitely worth a visit.
Cool Cat is solid and dependable. We enjoy their diverse sandwich (especially chicken) and burger selections. They aren’t necessarily great but they’re always good. Their fries, onion rings and milkshakes are great — they’re reason enough to go here. The wait staff is always friendly and the diner atmosphere is cool, indeed.
The food and service were very good. The burgers are large and messy. The French fries were very good. The onion rings are heavily battered. It was a warm and welcoming place.
Great place for a good beer and a fantastic burger. Had the Duke, Thursday special which comes with fries, and enjoyed every bit of it. Courteous, friendly, and quick service. Definitely going back next time I visit SLO.
Fantastic experience. Like sitting in a time capsule of classic diners. Good table service, knowledgeable and polite staff. Card machine is brought to your table rather than card being taken to pay so that's a bonus. All round great time
Ah yes, the glorious 1950s are right here! Had a milkshake, chicken, and fries. Typical American meal! The most important thing about a meal is the people you're with. The server was friendly and I had a nice time with the person that talked me into dining there!
50's Diner style. Absolutely amazing food! So well cooked, prepared and also great service.
I had my pup and they have outside dining, so lucky for us.
I'll be better about taking photos next time, when I don't have my pup.
