I have yet to have there actual coffee but there teas are definitely 5 star worthy. Whether it be hot or cold the, sweet or unsweetened the teas are good.
It is a nice place. Kinda of like Starbucks but I guess a little bit more fancier. Coffee and prices are good.
I know the Starbucks devotees would disagree, but Peets has the best coffee. The staff is friendly and I've never had a bad cup here. If you buy while beans, they're always fresh. The location is excellent, so you can grab your cup and go for a nice stroll downtown.
Wow! The bad reviews must be from undercover Starbucks employees! The staff is consistently great, friendly and more than competent. The location is wonderful for meeting, greeting and simply enjoying! And the coffee is superb!
The thermostat seems to be stuck at the oddly low temperature of a back-kitchen freezer, but other than that, coffee enthusiasts from all cups of life can appreciate the diversity in their selections. This peets location in SLO is wonderful. Stephanie the manager goes above and beyond for her customers and her team works hard, are friendly, and always seem to be enjoying their time. Just expanded breakfast options which has been really helpful if I'm unable to make breakfast in the morning.
The Customer service here is Aaaaaaammmmaaazzzing. I come back for the coffee and the delicious baked goods but the customer service, friendly faces, and gorgeous smiles are what really sold me on this coffee shop. Big thanks to the staff here you guys are great and second to no one!

Very cute coffee shop in a beautiful part of downtown San Luis Obispo. The service here is fantastic and the employees are very nice. The coffee is pretty good, but the specialty drinks(i.e. Mochas or fraps) have some area to improve.
Once a week I come to Peet's in SLO to purchase one pound of dark roast coffee beans plus received small cup of coffee with purchased. Great coffee and customer service
Best coffee we have tasted in this country.. sorry the are not everywhere... but so happy there are a few .. while traveling we look for Peets first.... even the decaf is fantastic.. enjoy Major Dickensen blend.. and their house blend..
Great coffee friendly staff, always get the order right! Never had a bad experience yet. Much better than Starbucks.
