We love Yogurtland. It is always clean, the staff are polite, their sample policy is very lax, and they have soft serve ice cream as well as frozen yogurt. Great variety of toppings and froyo flavors.
Yogurt land is like the Cadillac of yogurt shops. They let you choose your own flavor out of a load of them in the wall. You can put your own toppings on it from the huge selection and then you just pay by weight. The price is very reasonable and the place is totally clean and nice. The SLO location is nice because you can sit off the sidewalk and people watch. I have been to some places that put the stuff on for you or have some pre formulated things and that is lame compared to this way. Also I have been to the oldschool places that have been around and they are kind of dingy and dirty with piles of boxes around and dirty scratched up sneeze guards.....If you come in here you will feel the AAA health department feeling of the place!
Although I have only ever seen one staff person on site, they have always been polite. The yogurt was good, they also had, according to my son, fantastic sorbet.
The best smellin' yogurt shop I've ever been in. That was my first impression when we stepped in. They had the best variety of fro yogurt, ice cream, and sorbets!

There's usually always at least one good non-dairy Sherbert here however often you'll find two to three interesting flavors.
