The drive-thru line is always packed if that is any indication to how good their food is. My favorite is the carne guisada, but I've had other tacos/burritos which were good too (like the barbacoa). They throw in some sauces to go with your burrito too which are yummy. Highly suggest Lolita's!
Whad'ya mean "Best in town"? How about one of the best in TX! Well prepared, inexpensive, addictive. Those who disagree might want to stick with Old El Paso. Lolita is super nice too.
Love their breakfast tacos! If I didn't live on the other side of campus I would totally eat their tacos every morning. So, it's probably a good thing that I don't. I recommend this place!
Best breakfast tacos in San Marcos!! This place is so popular there is always a short wait...lines can be quite long!! Food is always fresh and good. Anyone who does not like this place simply has no concept of delightful Mexican fast food. By far the busiest place in town. Service is fast and friendly!!
Best taco place in San Marcos by far!! Don't understand why anyone would give a bad review on this place, they obviously don't appreciate real Mexican food, and yes the line is always long for the wait but we'll worth it! I would recommend the barbacoa tacos! The owner is always super friendly to:)
Breakfast of Champions. This place is so good! We got breakfast tacos on this first visit. The bacon was crispy, the potatoes were cooked just right - still firm, not soggy. The cheese was sharp and yummy. Overall a great food experience. We will be back.
Gee, I MISS This Place!. One could hardly call Lolita's a "cafe" unless sitting in your car in the parking lot qualifies as "sit down dining." It's drive through with "two sided access" and some of the best, and BIGGEST, breakfast tacos in the Austin to San Antonio corridor. Fast, ample portions and tasty! I wish there was a place like this on my way to work nowadays.

Have to hit this place up EVERY time I am in town!! Best breakfast tacos around. I keep saying I'm going back to try other things but have not yet. They are friendly, the portions are generous and oh so tasty! Recommend, the lines are long but move fairly quickly. Get there early while some folks are still asleep. Lol
Used to come here many years ago. Stopped by for a visit and these tacos do NOT disappoint. Highly recommend calling your order in and picking it up at the window. Lines get long!
Despite the long lines the service was very quick and friendly. I have driven by this place at least a dozen times, picking up or dropping off my son and I have to say it’s the first time I’ve decided to stop and have a bite. Lolita the owner, was so nice and really made me feel at home. The barbacoa taco was fantastic! The salsas had the right amount of flavor and heat. I I especially liked the red sauce it was different then the green sauce and had a bit of a smoky taste to it. I most definitely will be coming back here often!
All their tacos and plates are soooo good. The Loli's special is our breakfast go to. The carne guisada is my lunch favorite, but everything I've tried here in the last 7 years is amazing. Support local please, go further and get a t-shirt for $15. FYI bilingual also. Enjoy 😉
After 3 years of living in San Mo I finally got tacos from here. These are the BEST breakfast tacos I have tried in San Marcos!!
I got 2 chorizo & egg tacos, the flour tortilla is handmade and let me tell you these tacos are big!!
I also got a Lolita’s Combo but I preferred the chorizo😬 They give you a lot of salsas (red & green). The salsa is not spicy but the green has a great flavor! The lady at the drive thru was so sweet & nice! She gave me a free barbacoa taco ( corn) and this is truly an authentic Mexican taco. I do wish they were open more late so I can eat some tacos for dinner, but I will definitely be coming back for sure. Give this place a try you won’t be disappointed.
OMG... These tacos are amazing!! I got the carne asada tacos the best I have ever had!! I am a huge foodie and I try all the local spots! This is got to be one of my faves! Definitely coming back again!
