The Ahi tuna tower is amazing! Great service, very attentive.
I've tried every sushi place in San Marcos and this is BY FAR the best, however, you'll need to head out of town for the really good stuff. The happy hour prices are really awesome too.
My Favorite Sushi Place in The Hill Country!. I really enjoy the sushi in this place. The attentive wait staff, the special rolls and the "deals" all contributed toward making this a pleasant experience and a respite from all the Mexican Food and Bar-B-Q. (Not that anything's wrong with the many choices in that venue. it's just nice to have something different sometimes.)
Overpriced Not very Tasty. It's good, yes, and a fun experience; though, it's overpriced. I have had much cheaper sushi that tasted much better. Fun for the experience, I suppose, but I don't recommend it.
Best sushi We have had especially for the money. Lunch prices are great.
Two rolls for $10 every day lunch special, what could be better then that?
We came on a Sunday and did the all you can eat option. They have a good selection of items to choose from. The waiter was very friendly and the business wasn't super full so we got the food quickly. Everything we ate was delicious. The only reason I took a star away was because they didn't tell us it was cash only until the bill came. Thankfully there was an atm nearby so we were able to get cash.
Great Hibachi atmosphere. Tasty food. Friendly upbeat service. Could use an interior remodel but overall good experience. Ordered Boston Roll sushi, Hibachi entrees come wit ginger salad & onion soup - NY strip w/ chicken, Lobster w/ scallops. White peach sake.
There's actually a few places to find Sushi in San Marcos, but I can rave about Kobe! We were seated quickly (10 minute or so), and had an order in soon after. The meal came out perfect -- salads first, a few appetizers, and an overwhelming plate of sushi to share!
Our waitress was on top of it -- she was very attentive and very pleasant throughout our entire meal.
We had a bit of confusion in the parking lot, and when we asked to speak with the manager, the staff and the manager took our concerns very seriously -- above and beyond, food and service, for sure.
We have been here before and have excellent experience all 3 times. The waitress was polite and friendly. The food delicious and generous in portions. We love coming here.
Have lived in SM all my life and this is the very first time we have ever came here and our 1st experience was by far the best, the service was amazing the food was delicious and our Chef Jimmy was the best, ask for him to be your chef he was super awesome, very fun and enjoyable and made us feel very comfortable. My family and I will definitely be back!
All you can eat sushi for 18.95. Worth it. I felt the portion was small and got more rice than you did actual sushi. You can always order the nigiri as well.
