Ajisen Ramen - San Mateo - Photo album

If you like spicy ramen then you'll really like their spicy miso pork ramen. I added the extra volcano sauce and I didn't regret it! It was very tasty.
My mom and pass by here from time to time if we want soup, but close to use. I had their ramen(s) many times and I have to say it's so so the pork isn't super tender, but the base of the broth helped save this dish. The dishes are very flavorful. But at the end of the day, the food was a little greasy and kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe it was the specific dish (tonkatsu ramen) I ordered. Also most of their dishes are pork, and I would prefer a little variety.
