Royal Thai Restaurant - San Rafael - Photo album

October 2023: Stopped by for lunch and shared the Bangkok street noodles and the avocado salad. It's been probably 12 years since I ate here last. Back then, the restaurant was often very crowded. Today for lunch, there weren't many people. The street noodles were very tasty šŸ˜‹. Had ground chicken
Ordered the fried tilapia and I have now encountered my favorite dish!! Perfectly crispy and spicy with soft jasmine rice on the side to accompany each bite. Havenā€™t been here in years and Iā€™m so glad it has been able to withstand the pandemic and still the BEST Thai restaurant in Marin!! Delicious,
Truly some of the tastiest Thai food Iā€™ve ever had. Every dish is rich with flavor. We ordered the red curry with chicken, Thai basil with tofu, and pad Thai with shrimp. Would easily recommend any of them, but the red curry was definitely the stand out! Highly recommend as my top Thai place in Mari
Great selection of Thai food. Enjoyed the calamari.
Great atmosphere. Very authentic and reasonable price. Will definitely come back (:
Very authentic Thai food and decor. Lovely staff. Lots to choose from on their menu. Entrance is a bit obscured. Itā€™s to the right of the large ā€œRoyal Thaiā€ sign facing 3rd St. Same entrance is also accessible by going through the courtyard through the iron arch ā€œFrench Quartersā€ sign on Irwin St.
Royal Thai Restaurant offers an authentic and delicious dining experience with impeccable service and a beautiful ambiance.
Nice little Thai place in the French Quarter right under the 101 over pass. Been meaning to go there forever. Good food, reasonable prices, great service and kind of groovey atmosphere in an old house. Didn't give it five stars just because it's not like a 5 star place but certainly nothing wrong wi
We went to Royal Thai on New Yearā€™s Eve. We ordered Chicken Satay, Vietnamese Inspired Savory Crepe (not many Thai restaurants have this but itā€™s my favorite Thai dish), Tofu Fried Rice and Thai Spicy Sea Food Salad (Yum-Talay). Everything tasted great and authentic. Iā€™m Thai so I know what Thai foo
Absolutely delicious!! Best Thai food in San Rafael. This place is epic!! Great menu, lots of fun things to order. I loved the Talay Susan. A yellow curry with shrimp, scallops, vegetables, and fried soft shell crab. The crab Rangoon is a must. The Thai crepe with pork and shrimp is to die for. The
Love this cute little place, they are ALWAYS busy with take out orders and sometimes get backed up. We recently dined in for the first time and had a wonderful!! The food was even more delicious when it's straight from the kitchen even though we only live a short distance when we pick up togo. This
Excellent food! Different from other Thai restaurants that I have eaten at. The coconut curry base is thicker, less sweet. Good ambience! Recommend the veggie red curry! Choose between mild and medium for the best experience !
Fortunately, the homeless encampment is mostly cleaned up so people can actually park to visit the many businesses. The repugnant and rapid degentrification of San Rafael endangers our local businesses, so it's important to support these local neighbors by voting for supervisors who are interested
Been there twice in the last year. The food and service are great! After my meal I met one of the new owners (it's still a family business but his aunt recently retired and moved back to Thailand) and now all I can think about is when I will have a chance to share the experience with my wife. Try s
Food was really good. I had spring rolls, Penang curry and pad Thai. All were great
Best crab rangoons in Marin!
We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in October because we love the people and the food. They were so kind and accommodating. I recommend their fried trout with mango salad on top, my husband likes their pad Thai and green curry, and it's always a yummy end with mango sticky rice when it's in se
