Whipper Snapper - San Rafael - Photo album

This place is a vibe. From the food, to the music and the atmosphere. Come for a drink and stay for the amazing fish tacos. The spicy Cajun shrimp are a must have, and I love the Zarzuela which is a tomato based seafood medley with the most tender local fish you will ever have. The service is alway
Just had a great dinner at Whipper Snapper. The warm spinach salad is so delicious. Like lick the plate delicious. We also had the sliders, which were very tasty. Love the passion fruit mousse for dessert. And the Pilsner on tap is really really good. Will go back again soon. What a wonderful
Hello Check Please Fans Good experience at Whipper Snapper Restaurant was quiet Sunday afternoon and the service and food were excellent We had the plantains with black beans dish. It was a generous portion and was delicious with mild seasoning. Garnished with cilantro and sour cream We also spl
It was a nice ambience, sitting was out side on 4th street and their was good live music. We had the potatoes, shrimp, bbq guava wings and ceviche. Flavors were great. Definitely will be returning.
Delicious small plates and good service. The three of us ordered 4 plates and that was plenty. Fun and funky atmosphere.
Whippersnapper is our go-to for family events and when friends come to town. Food is always delicious and staff members are friendly and efficient.
Really great service, and the food was impressively good! Had the Brussels sprouts as a starter - it was rather uniquely prepared, and it was delicious. The zarzuela was out of this world - it beat all the other fish stews I've ever had. This place is a gem.
Update: this place is still fantastic. Their signature dishes are as good as ever, and the specials are always on point. Staff are really friendly. Yum - unbeatable. Definitely get the Cajun shrimp (creamy, a little spicy, and really delicious).
Wonderful, festive, but low-key Caribbean atmosphere, sure to put you in a good mood. We've been going there for years, and it's become one of our favorite places. The food is varied, delicious, and the presentation just adds to the appeal. The calamari is better than any other place we've had it
Love Bill the owner/chef and Mariana, daytime waitress. Food here is always OUTSTANDING! Flavors incredible. Atmosphere is great, too. So friendly, casual, inviting. Live music always good, too—have a GREAT Brazilian acoustic guitar player!
This place is insane when it comes to making great food. Someone in my group was dissatisfied with one of the dishes and ordered something the new. The chef took the initiative to remake the meal without us asking while also giving us the new order. The remade food was absolutely great along with al
Ermgerd fried plantains! The food here is amazing!
I don't always buy into the "fresh organic ingredients" hype, but I can tell that this place uses great quality ingredients in all their dishes. The dishes are extravagant enough to make them worth the price but humble enough to make your night out cozy. They also have a great patio out back if you
We had a fantastic lunch with a pitcher of sangria that was delicious. Our server was beyond perfect, super charming and friendly, made us feel right at home. Brazilian jazz music playing made the atmosphere just right! Loved it!!
My first time here and we got a variety of food including fish tacos and duck confit with a pitcher of sangria. Everything was wonderful, the sangria was not too strong and everything had a delicious flavor. For dessert I ordered the fruit mousse (something I wouldn't normally consider for the lack
Ate here once during Dining Under the Lights on a Thursday. Was very busy but they were very accommodating. Marianna was a real whipper snapper! The veggie quesadilla and the spicy shrimp/sauce were super yum.
