The staff are extremely patient and helpful. The store is fairly big and has its own food court as well. There was a bit of a language barrier due to many of the staff knowing only Spanish but nonetheless the staff still try their best to help you out. Something to watch out for that I have been tol

Very well stocked and great selection. We stayed in a hotel around the corner and would walk here for hot food.

I love this super Mercado lots of stocked items and the bakery is my favorite. Usually not very busy during the day.

This is the best produce market in town and has cheaper products than most chains around. The bakery and food court are full of options and provide for a nice dining atmosphere. Enjoy!
The restaurant inside this grocery store is really good! The steak tacos and the variety of soups are my favorite! I also like the meat market (butcher's counter) in the store.
Plenty of fresh masa, large meat department, and a cheese counter with many choices! They also sell hot food here and the tamales are delicious.
Soooo... it's been a few years since my last review of Cardenas Market, and it's well over due.
1. The produce LOOKS beautiful, but beware most is way far from being ripe.

Great place to pick up meals that they make. Not great for people who do not speak fluent Spanish because some of their employees don't speak very good English. Their Salsa and house made chips are great! Produce doesn't last well.
