Uchiwa Ramen - San Rafael - Photo album

We did a road trip from Portland Oregon to try out this ramen while in San Rafael. Didn't get to stay long, but our short experience was nice. Friendly staff and good ramen. We had a few small sides that were also really good. I cannot wait to make another trip to Uchiwa Ramen and stay longer next
Ramen on a rainy day was a perfect pairing. My office and I scrambled to get a To-Go order in for our lunch today: our first choice was unresponsive to our online inquiry or answering their phones to let us know that To-Go wasn't an option for their place anymore.. so we found this spot. Excellent
Great cozy atmosphere, generous staff and decent food! We had the gyoza and the spam misubi, and I had the Tonkotsu. The tonkotsu was good, the pork belly led a bit to be desired and the entire meal could have used a little extra seasoning but that's me being picky! I would love to return to Uchiwa
Enjoyed a very delicious lunch. The kale salad was super tasty. I could eat that as an entree. The Spam musubi was great. The ramen was good. The broth could have been tastier.
We stumbled upon this place and are happy we did! The ramen is good and fresh with a lot of flavor. We did the karaage as well and the flavor was amazing but the texture was not as crispy as I'm sure it is when it's fresh at the restaurant. We had to take it home of course until dine-in is allowed
Well the place is beautiful, I love the vibe on the restaurant nice music not to loud I meant if you have a business meeting I highly recommend this place. The restaurant is really clean that particular reason made me believe the food will be great. The Miso I enjoy today was so tasty way better t
Overall, the vegan ramen was great. The broth left a little something to be desired. I prefer the tofu very firm. I also ordered extra noodles, and it didn't seem to come with much more.
I am not an expert in ramen but I had Tonkotsu Ramen here and loved it. My friend who is experienced in ramen said that it was a bit bland and used kimchi to spice it up. My point being, this place is definitely worth a try if you are nearby. The ambience and service is really good. I also had gyoza
I really liked the Tonkotsu Ramen I got. It was flavorful and delicious! The egg left me wanting compared to seasoned eggs I've had at other ramen restaurants, but I would still definitely come back here!
A Japanese classic done well. Also some innovations in appetizers. Try the Spam chips, they're pretty good, and not something you'll find very often.
I love ramen and I can't believe this was my first time here. Such delicious ramen! Staff was very attentive and friendly. Prices are good. My mom and I left feeling satisfied and will be back soon!
