We love this place but preferred their new location until it closed recently. This is their original spot and has an interesting feel about it. You order in one area then go outside to the dining room in a different part of the building.

Very good southern bbq ribs. Meat was tender and delicious but lacked a smoky flavor. Great choices of tasty sides. The fried okra was yum! Creamy cheesy gooey Mac and cheese. Slightly bummed that the hottest hot bbq sauce wasn't hot.
Best Lil' Porkhouse has the best BBQ I've had anywhere in or near San Francisco. They use good meat, don't take shortcuts (i.e. no pre-boiling, just low and slow smoking), and use good rubs. This little spot off of 4th street is a gem! Some of the best BBQ you'll find in the SF Bay Area and definitely in Marin county. I found the spareribs to be a lot better here than in their location in Corte Madera. Their fried pickles are excellent. Recommend if you are in a pinch for BBQ.
I worked with Best Lil' Porkhouse to cater a birthday party, and it worked out so well. The food was delicious, BBQ pulled pork is outstanding. Everything was ready on time! I really appreciated the experience.
The sliders are perfect. Plenty of meat and sauce on a soft bun. The choice of sides are great too... good place for sandwiches too. The platters were a bit spend your for me.
Yum! BBQ that falls off the bone, is flavorful, & isn't slathered in goo. The sides are also incredible; my favorites are the beans, the collared greens, the fried okra, the fried pickles, and the cornbread.
delicious bbq and sides. often bbq just focus on the meats, but Best Lil' Porkhouse has some tasty sides to complement the meats. I prefer the greens, cole slaw, and spot-on cornbread.
The ribs are divine, but one of the best things about the house was the large selection of barbecue sauce. The service is extremely fast and the severs were very nice.
