Shiro Kuma - San Rafael - Photo album

The best sushi I’ve ever had in the Bay Area. Everything was special and amazing. It was like tasting sushi for the first time again.
I'm not sure why the service was as slow as it was, but once we ordered, dishes came timely. Everything we ate was top-notch. It will probably a new go-to sushi spot
Me and my family had dinner at this restaurant and it was amazing. We loved everything about it. The Hamachi-Jalapeño was so good 😊 and also The Dragon Roll was great 👍 We definitely recommend this place for the sushi experience 🍣🍱
My husband and I had Omakase ( a series of plates made by chef's choices) at Shiro Kuma and we loved every bite! Everything was fresh and delicious! Every plate was like a piece of art. The owner and the staff there are very nice!
The fried edamame and corn sticks are a must try! The ultimate beer food. The ceviche is also a perfect Latin-Japanese adaptation with fried lotus root instead of tortilla. Tasty rolls and good sushi. Nice selection of Japanese beer and sake.
Absolutely delightful time at Shiro Kuma. Went around dinner time, wasn't too busy. Was seated right away. Chairs are comfortable, table was clean. Ordered a nice sampling of their sushi to try a bit of everything. The Miso was piping hot and the edamame was nicely salted, not too heavy. I could
Hidden gem in San Rafael💯 Tempura was crispy with a light batter, the sashimi was fresh and perfectly sliced. Sushi was delcious Arigato Yasuosan❤
Amazing! Will visit again soon. Best service and food!
5 of us there to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very nice in making the reservation. The food was great and I will go back again.
BEST SUSHI NORTH BAY. So good. Everything I tried was fresh, melt in your mouth, stunning, deliciousness.
Great overall experience. My family of 4 had a feast last night. We tried everything from the sashimi sampler to the fried purple potatoes. The fish was fresh and the service was excellent. The rolls we tried were creative and delicious. The desserts were classical Japanese style, not as sweet as ou
We had really good sushi at Shiro Kuma. We had tried other sushi restaurants in/around Larkspur and they were "meh" or "meh and wow that was expensive!" Shiro Kuma was great and very reasonable (like, not Marin priced!) Everything was really good. They even had fish liver! You don't see that much
Always fresh fish, tasty dishes, and friendly staff.
The 2 of us spent just over $400 eating excellent sushi. Everything was top quality. Toro / tuna belly was super super. Pineapple Sake was amazing (: Tried two types of super fresh Butterfish/ Iwashi flow in from Japan. Will be returning for sure. Yes they have $25 dinners too.
