Had the best BLT, homemade russet chips AND tortilla chips with pico. Good prices and friendly servers.

We had a great time here last night. Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and fast service. Best hot pretzels anywhere and great beer of course too!

Same great beer in a new vibe and an updated business model. I like the 'public house' style long tables which are conducive to meeting new people.

Fun NEW gathering place at this downtown San Rafael location! Family and friends really like the food, happy ambiance, and kid-friendly space. Kids menu too. For the adults, some Iron Springs beers to try (Their own brewery is in nearby Fairfax.) Warm and sparkling interior. Music, and live music groups on calendar. A VERY friendly and enthusiastic staff!!! Super location on 4th Street in downtown San Rafael!

Good beer, lots of variety, I had major science and smoking jacket. Food I had was good, but the menu is smaller than their Fairfax location. Will be going back to try more.

Possibly the best pork chop I've ever eaten. Exactly the right amount of food. Perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, onions, beans and the coup de gras baked apple.

Sunday night. We went for trivia. As a homebrewer, I really enjoy their beers. Their san anselmo spot is good too. Our group had a couple beers, glass of wine, cider, pretzel, brussel sprouts, and nachos. Products and services were all above average. The nachos had a house-made cheese sauce, which seemed like a mix between real cheese & american cheese. Not my favorite, but still tasty. The acoustics inside got a little dicey for trivia, but worked out okay. Max occupancy of 74. They could use a couple acoustic panels on the ceiling. Like my review!

Customer service has always been good. I get the pretzels every time I go. For the most part, the food items that I have tried were good and worth the price. The menu changes every now and then so at least you could potentially mix it up if you made a second trip!

Came in for lunch and a beer. I had the pastrami panini, and it was delicious. The potato chips were also great. My wife had the grilled cheese, which she said was delicious. We had the pilsner, which was nice. Cool place. Friendly and attentive bar tenders and staff. Will be coming back.

Cobb salad was on point. Paired it with a gluten - free beer, and I was in my happy place. Corner location with a wall of windows and lots of wood gives a warm and well-lit atmosphere. The friendly staff seemed to be operating fluidly even though they've recently opened. Perfect addition to downtown San Rafael!

Excellent micro brews from Fairfax, CA. The food is good too but I've only had a couple small appetizers here. They had oysters once and they were great.

The beer is awesome and they switch it up often. The bartenders and wait staff are some of the nicest people. Food is tasty, I'm waiting for the burger to be a permanent menu item.

Good bear, excellent food and ambiance. It is not the cheapest option out there for similar restaurants, but after a few beers, anyone feels more liberal about ponying up more cash. Specials are expensive, but delicious and worth it.

This is a nice bar to visit while checking out downtown San Rafael. There are many beers on tap, including some brewed by Iron Springs. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Food is more like snack food.

Smaller than its Fairfax counterpart, with a much more limited menu: so mainly pub food with a couple specials every day. Not sure why I thought it was a good idea to order crudo in a pub; the description was better than the execution. The fish wasn't cut properly, the stringy tendon/bloodline was left in, and the ponzu sauce was a bit too light (read: bland) for my liking. However, the pasta of the day was a garlicky buttery shrimp dish which was quite tasty. Tasty enough to want to sop up the sauce with some bread... which they didn't really have. Ended up waiting a while for some toasted sliced bread. My only other complaint was the selection of mainly hop-heavy beer, I wish there were a couple more styles of (less bitter) beer but I suppose that's what all the cool kids want these days.

One of the few breweries in Marin and probably the best in my opinion. Good food.. definitely come on burger night when they serve burgers from a bbq they setup in the back.

A pleasant atmosphere that happens to have very decent beers and even better food items. Great staff and fairly reasonable prices. The pretzel is one the best.

Portions are small and pretty high priced but the food is good. The space is very nice and the beer is very good. It is definately a welcome addition to the area.
