Lj's Deli - San Rafael - Photo album

I just discovered this place. I'm glad I found it. The Asian Chicken Sandwich was outstanding. I can't wait to try move of what they have to offer.
Amazing food, quick, and the most friendly service! We're from Ohio and found them on Google maps on our way back to the airport from wine country... And although it's in a bit of a strange location, it was fantastic, all 8 of us loved it! Don't hesitate, GO!
Friendly staff, clean, and great tasting sandwich. Would definitely go back. Tiny critique: We got sourdough bread (toasted). The bread didn't hold the ingredients in well and it felt like a pile of goodness with pieces of small toast loosely floating around.
I was driving through the area and stopped to get lunch. I ordered a turkey and bacon pesto panini and it was so delicious!! I wish I was local so I could try the other items on the menu. Highly recommend this shop if you're craving a good sandwich
Yum! My turkey, bacon and cranberry sandwich was incredible. Such a generous serving, too. The ladies working were attentive, kind, helpful , and fast! I will definitely be back. The seating area was surprisingly ample and comfortable, too.
Bussin sandwiches with super chill and friendly staff. Reasonable prices and very easy to find with new signage!
I’ve had there sandwiches a lot especially the sub hut special with “the guts on the side” Mr. Wonderful aka John Tyler has brought them to us at the Chevron refinery for years. I recently started going to picking up sandwiches, pasta and potato salads for my crew that works at the Chevron refinery
Nice friendly deli. My sub hut sandwich was filled with cold cuts and chopped vegetables on a roll. A little bit soggy but overall good.
For my years, even before it was LJ's my family have been eating subhut sandwich. But the last few times we have got them they weren't as good. The rolls have changed, the old ones were better, and not as much meat in them, and the last ones, last Thursday we got had no hot peppers. I hope you go ba
Awsm fresh and mooshy rye bread .so good. Crunchy tasty pickles. Tomatoes seemed organic very tasteful. Real turkey and Swiss cheese.Freaking awsm sando. Been goin to this place since it opened in the 80s. Great jib peeps keeping the tasty sub sando goin
Not only is this deli conveniently located, but the new owners are really friendly (the previous owner is a gem too). Fresh ingredients and super fast service. They have daily specials that I really enjoy, delicious soup and a newly added salad spread. Something for everyone!
Great place that has been through a few owners. I'm glad to see the most recent owner has decided to keep the name and some of the classic menu items. At the same time the inside has been redecorated and made to feel more modern and comfortable. The menu now includes a larger selection of vegetarian
First time coming here staff are very friendly and there food is soo delicious best sandwich i ever had definitely coming back here
Top rate sandwiches! If you order & pay early, they will just hand you your sandwich while there is a line to the door. Their lattes are pretty good, and this is my choice if I am in the area!
Nice little shop. Great service and good food. Can't go wrong here
As fire refugees my husband and I enjoyed delicious sandwiches and great kindness having our first lunch at LJ Deli. We can see why it is so popular with the locals.
Expensive (like everything in Marin County) but they make some good sandwiches and fast service.
Great sandwiches, they have a nice selection, they use very good bread and all have a lot of flavor. also look out for their specials....one week it was Cubano sando.......so good.
We stumbled upon this gem along our travels. Bread was amazing, our whole party was very pleased with the sandwiches we chose.
