Marin Civic Center Cafe - San Rafael - Photo album

I mean, not much to review here. The acoustics are fine. Stage is relatively viewable from all seats. Seats could and should be upgraded/updated. They seem as if they've been there for 3 or 4 decades.
I brought my mom here to see William Shatner and it was awesome. Parking was free. They have bathrooms conveniently located in the building. And they sold great wine. Seating was very comfortable and the screen was a great size to watch the movie on.
This place is alright...I wish they would modernize the inside tho...I understand that the historic society is always working to preserve the design legacy of Frank Lloyd Write...but it is time for an upgrade...
Beautiful lay out for an art exhibit at the fair, fine acoustics as evidenced by the percussion band performing over the weekend we visited. They had the doors open at both ends so there was good air flow. The loo was clean, well stocked and there are plenty of stalls. There is wheelchair accessibil
I've gone to many concerts here and I find the acoustics quite professional clear no matter where you're sitting in the auditorium. I never overcharge for most of the shows here and the park in his easy bathrooms clean and and over all safe place to spend the evening with the at a teacher the outdoo
Great venue and good rock n roll by Jefferson Starship
Decent venue. Fair amount of space between chairs and rows. Many seats for people with disabilities. Parking is somewhat limited. There is only one single-lane road connecting this venue with the rest of the Marin county. Expect 10-15 min delays in post concert traffic.
Great venue with plenty of parking. The auditorium is located right next to a small lake/park. The seating was spacious with plenty of leg room. We were there for the Bob Woodward lecture as part of the Marin Speaker Series. I was a bit disappointed by Bob Woodward. I expected Woodward to provi
Beautiful building, plenty of bathrooms too. I was there on a night it was completely full and the crowd moved well entering and exiting. If you're handicapped, make sure to request handicapped seating because most of the seating is up stairs
My first experience with the MVMA (and Marin, for that matter) was a mere two months ago or so, coming up this way for a Jake Shimabukuro concert with a girl I was dating at the time. If you've never heard of the man, Youtube him: he does magic with a ukulele! While positive overall, I did have a f
Not a bad place to see a concert but the parking situation sucks. They don't have even close to enough spaces if the show sells well. Some parking way in back but not fun when it rains, too much mud and only o e lane to get in or out!
This is Marin's only large auditorium to see anyone involved in music, drama or comedy. Greatest event that goes each year here is Singers Marin annual Holiday Concert. Comprised of four adult groups, four youth groups on stage singing the traditional, standard holiday music along with selections f
Always easy. Parking a bit tough. Great venue with room for big audience. Sound system fine. Acoustics fine.
Nice place, but wasn't familiar with the area. Could use additional signage as you drive in to be helpful. To front entry, to rear entry - performer drop off etc.
Beautiful venue, but you have to get there early to find decent parking when there is a busy event, as space is limited.
Great musical of Bye Bye Birdie! My son Colin and me loved the show. Small venue, of course it is Marin!
