Cafe Tandoor - San Ramon - Photo album

A good quality Indian food right in the middle of San Ramon. The place is not obviously seen from highway and took a bit of effort to figure out. A decent size restaurant with lunch buffet and menu options. The Bombay Bhel is very tasty and as expected. The stuffed Mirchi is different from other p
Great value for the $10 Indian Buffet Lunch, includes bottomless fountain soda and tax. Chicken Tandoor was moist and tender. Overall, there was some vegetarian dishes and chicken, goat. Food has some spicy heat before adding. Family style atmosphere. High chairs and booster chairs are under the ca
Very nice dinner option that’s great in quality and quantity. I got eggplant subzi, rice, 4 pieces of tawa roti (whole-wheat) and another curry option as dinner special. Kids loved Potato parata with raita. Everything tasted good. I hope raita was made with yogurt instead of sour cream. I am not sur
Best north indian food in town with right amount of spices. You can order food buffet for $12 or a la carte from the menu. Try their tea, it's nice.
Pretty good food! Takes a while to prepare, but I guess that’s a good sign.
Great spot. Whenever I’m in the area I drop by for a bit of takeaway. The gentleman at the front is friendly and helpful - he explained what every poultry curry dish was to my dad when I came in with him! Food is consistently good and the kitchen gets dishes out pretty quick, even when there are a l
All you can eat lunch buffet only $12 until 3 pm. I tried a spoonful of everything and cleaned my plates and bowls with naan. A complete selection of traditional Indian food cooked to perfection and tasty as you expect it to be! Left happy and very full. No AC, so if you're heat sensitive, come when
This rating may change to 5 stars if the next time we come here the experience is as good as this evening. The gentleman at the register was extremely friendly and made good suggestions for our meal. The food was great and we enjoyed the chai tea as well. Apparently they also serve a lunch buffet fo
They had been serving great food, but recently their quality and taste of food has gone down. Specially the vegetables in a meal are half cooked. Initially I thought it's just once, but it's been going on for a while. Their buffet is value for money.
Awesome food. Had wraps and they were delicious. Comes with a small side of potato salad or cucumber. Piping hot and fresh! Made for a great meal on a chilly day!!
This is our only go-to place in East bay for biryanis. Their biryanis, wraps, naan pizza’s are very delicious. We have been visiting this place for over 6 years, and their food quality is always up to the mark. They also catered for our son’s birthday party, every body were raving for the wraps and
If you are craving for Indian food and Tea in San Ramon, Cafe Tandoor is the place to be. They have a good spread in their lunch buffet which is reasonably priced at 12$ and the taste is homely. It is run by a family (seems like), the onwer is nice and courteous. If you go for ala carte, it comes to
Authentic Indian Cuisine, with a lunch buffet special and filling portions for a fair price. They actually make spicy food, which is becoming more rare to Indian restaurants throughout the SF Bay area due to complaints by surprised customers. I love spicy foods so when I discovered this cafe, I was
I love the place! The food is delicious. I love when I have free time and get to enjoy the buffet. Customer service is always great along with the staff. Highly recommend the place
Delicious! Vegan options! Get the Baigan Bartha! Get the meal instead of a la carte. Food is ready fast. Date night at home for about $20! They also have delicious wraps that are really unique!
The food is good, typical spicy (not mild), friendly polite folks. The dining area is minimalistic - simple chair tables, a little on the tight side - but clean. DId I say the food is good - their tandoori roti is excellent, the foods I have tried - saag paneer, aloo gobhi, matter paneer, aloo matt
A lot of great Indian restaurants in the area - but most either have great quality food OR large portion sizes. This place has both, it strikes the perfect balance between quality of great, tasty food and has large portion sizes.
