It was my first time visiting there yesterday with a friend of mine and it's was absolutely amazing! Love the atmosphere. Very chill, relaxing, reasonably priced, and wonderful service. Thanks again Kara! I would recommend this place for a date night, family dinner, or any special occasion. Such a great place.
Awesome dinning experience. One of the best dinners I have had. For Sandusky this place is a great asset to downtown and #1 in my book. The entre and sides where fresh and cooked perfectly. The desserts where equally delicious. Thank you to the J Bistro crew for making our dinner a wonderful evening.

The food is excellent----inventive, consistent and fresh. We always have an amazing meal when we are there, and the staff are terrific. We have become friends with the owner/Executive chef and his wife, and they are such a wonderful couple. This is a super dining venue in downtown Sandusky!
Really delicious! We are from CT and were very excited to find this place just a 10 minute drive from the horrible food at Cedar Point. Everything tasted great, service was fantastic- win win. Very recommended! Filet with horseradish mashed and crispy kale was delicious, as were the Brussels sprouts. This has to be the best place for miles around.
J. Bistro was well worth the drive from Toledo. The atmosphere was great, the service was over the top and the food had the best flavor combinations. We will definitely be back.

Had a wonderful dinner and our waitress even made the extra effort to take our table out back to get a group picture! We will definitely stop again when we are in town.

We had a fabulous time. Their staff was so gracious and accommodating to a large group of people who wanted to see each other after many months apart. They stayed open late just for us, and never pressured us to leave. We truly had a fabulous service experience, especially with our waitress who was incredibly friendly and attentive.
Came from out of town and were very impressed with the menu and the service! Everything on the menu looked outstanding-you can't go wrong here.
Just had the crab cakes for an appetizer. The filet for dinner. Unbelievably amazing. Steak was cooked perfect. Definitely going back.
Most exquisite dinner we had this past Thursday! The Perch was done to perfection and I would honestly say it is my #1 here on Lake Erie! The key lime slaw was divine!! My husband had the grouper and it rivaled what we had just a week ago in Florida! Kudos to Chef Brian and staff and to Kara!
Great place! Wish Jesse was still the cook there always enjoy his appetizers they have a great happy hour there too! And really good food.

We went for Anniversary and it was such a great experience. The waitress was wonderful and the food was fantastic. My wife said it’s the best steak she’s had in years and I thoroughly enjoyed the swordfish. Thanks for making our anniversary perfect!
