We enjoyed Fratellis restaurant. I got the steak and really enjoyed it. Which was awesome since most restaurants that don’t specialize in steak don’t know how to do it right. I also ended up getting dessert and thought it was not worth it. The cake seemed old and I didn’t care for the flavor. Our server was really nice and did a great job. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. There’s plenty of free parking.
Got in and sat super fast and servers and staff were all very friendly. Food was all served quickly and was hot. Our appetizer was hot and the sauces were good that came with it. The sausage and sweett potato soup was VERY good. My wife liked her chicken Alfredo. I had the Carbonara which was VERY salty. It was good but I'd probably not get it again.
Portions were kind of small buy that seems to be a trend amongst places lately. Not my fav Italian place but it's definitely not the worst. Pretty middle of the road.
Best Italian food in Utah! Amazing service, presentation, and food. My new favorite restaurant. Must try!
Authentication Italian food that will satisfy even the hungrier ones. Service is top notch, and the food is simply amazing.
Had a late lunch here with the family. It was a nice meal, good food, but nothing struck me as exceptional.
We ordered arancini, pepperoni pizza, meatball sandwich, gnocchi gorgonzola and a tiramisu.
The arancini is a beautiful plate of three fried cheesey rice balls on pesto, mascarpone, and marinara. The arancini was hot and the cheese inside was melty. It seems like something that should be instantly craveable. But for some reason it just wasn't. The four of us all agreed that it was good, and yet we let the plate be taken away with half of an arancini still left. Why? Dunno. It may have just needed a bit more salt.
The pizza was good. Truly solid. I'd order it again. The pepperoni had a nice bite and the dough was simple and... clean. It tastes clean. Which is honestly a draw. This is not an oily mess of American pizza. Very good, but I know that, for me, I can't justify a trip to a sit down restaurant for a beautifully simple pepperoni pizza.
Then there's the meatball sandwich. Good. Nice texture to the meatball, and the bread choice was perfect, but also not much depth of flavor. I think the marinara can't keep up with the meatball, resulting in an off balance dish. Good, but just not that interesting.
The gnocchi was soft and pillowy as they should be, but again kind of boring. The gorgonzola sauce was okay, but looked like it was broken. Lack of salt may have been a factor here too. The walnuts on top added some texture, but did not seem to be prepared in any way, just added to the plate. A seemingly texture over flavor choice.
Finally the tiramisu. I'm a tiramisu idealist, so seeing that mascarpone was actually used with ladyfingers was a draw we couldn't say no to. But it was just okay. The mascarpone was kept essentially thick and untreated on the ladyfingers which I think were dipped or soaked with a coffee liqueur. The menu says espresso and rum, but it tasted more like a liqueur to me. Then the whole thing was topped with almost toasted coconut. That choice was quite the mystery to me. A non traditional topping that is simply not better than cocoa or chocolate. If you are looking for a creamy delicate dessert with smooth coffee and chocolate tones, you won't find it here. Are all of the ingredients yummy. Yes, but what a disappointment when most of the ingredients are expensive and correct, but not put together properly. This isn't sponge cake and whipped cream, but it's not a quality tiramisu either.
Would I come again? Absolutely. Everything was good. I'd happily keep exploring the menu, there has to be something here that clicks.
We were only in Utah for one day, so it was hard picking which restaurant we would visit. I think we made a good choice. There is no outdoor seating (although that wasn't an issue for us, since it was January). We had a large party but were able to get same-day reservations. The size of our party also allowed us to try many different dishes. Everybody liked their food. It was high-quality Italian food. The menu is full of unique choices, but even the common Italian dishes came out in a better than average, exclusive way. I am not a big fan of steak, but the steak here was very good. The Bucatini Carbonara was our favorite entree and the Veal Marsala was our least favorite.
Cute little restaurant. Independently owned which I love supporting. Everything was really clean inside. No wait time. Staff was pretty good. We did get the wrong wine, but didn’t bring attention to it. Food was good. Noodles & gnocchi tasted homemade. I did think it was a little overpriced for what we got. I wasn’t expecting to spend $70 for dinner. Portions were normal. Would recommend to try something different than a food chain, but expect to spend a pretty penny.
I came around 7:30 in the middle of the week and there was no wait. Staff service was friendly and attentive. I ordered bruschetta, meatballs and sausage as well as the chicken picatta which came with a house salad.
The Bruschetta was beautiful in presentation and the dressing was delicious. The portion was large for an appetizer and could have easily fed 4 people. The bread was a little overly toasted for my liking, but still delicious.
The Meatball and sausage appetizer was okay. The meatballs were a little underdone so I avoided eating those, but the sausage and marinara were delicious. I'm glad I have some leftover for lunch tomorrow.
The chicken Pacatta was way too salty. I lost the flavors of lemon and wine in the pan sauce and that was a disappointment. The chicken itself was perfectly cooked and moist and had the perfect amount of breading. I ended up eating the chicken on its own and left the noodles and sauce on my plate.
Overall, the atmosphere is lovely. I was by myself, but I didn't feel super rushed to get out of the place. It wasn't super crowded, and my server checked on me a couple of times throughout my meal to refill my drink (I needed the refills because of the salted pacatta)
I drove half an hour to try this place. I probably won't do that again, but if you live close by, give it a try.
I’ve been to Fratelli’s twice. Both times, I was easily impressed to order the eggplant parmigiana. It is so good that it will be tough getting me to order anything else. Luckily my friends and my husband ordered a variety of foods.
My husband ordered and loved the spaghetti and meatballs.
Had a great date night at Fratelli Ristorante. It was our first time here and we will definitely be returning. The restaurant was nice and clean the staff were friendly the service was exceptional and the food of course was very yummy 😋
The Caesar salad and chicken Alfredo were delicious! My all time favorite though is the Italian nachos and pistachio Gelato and of course visiting with 👪 family. " Ride or Die" family.
We needed to order a catering delivery last minute and Fratelli restaurant were so kind to agree to prepare our order and deliver it to the location. Lasagna, Ceasar salad and rolls were delicious! Thank you so so much, everyone was very happy. We will definitely order again!
I started coming to this place when it was in the QuaryBend location. We went and had a early dinner yesterday and really enjoyed it. Food was great. What really made the visit great was our server. I don't know her name but she was wonderful! Knew the menu, knew what was popular to others and her personlity was great. So many places seem to have forgotten customer service since the covid issues, and seem to care less weather you are happy with the service and products but not here. They really care and it shows in your treatment of customers. Thanks for running such a GREAT place.
Beautiful family atmosphere.
Very affordable.
The last time I tried such a good pizza was in Napole, Italy, made by my Nonna Nicolasa 50 years ago!
Serious!
The food was superb as was the service! The restaurant is family-owned and makes you feel at home. Highly recommend the tiramisu for dessert and really enjoyed the chicken Alfredo. Those I went with also enjoyed their dishes and we all commented on the freshness of the pasta.
Will be coming back often!
Just went for the first time and I already can't wait to come back. I knew this was going to be a good time when we ordered the calamari appetizer and the squid was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. For the main course I got the gorgonzola gnocchi and my partner got the clam linguine which were both incredible, the gnocchi in particular was very good. Our only complaint here is we wanted way more clams in the linguine but I think that was purely greedy just because it tasted so good.
We had a few cocktails that were tasty, but nothing special for the price.
We finished with a slice of 'The Cake' and holy **** it was GOOD!
Overall a great experience. Quite possibly the best service I've ever had at any non-fine dining restaurant. It was very nice to see staff not being overworked to the bone. The team of bussers was on their game, taking empty plates and refilling drinks as needed. Our server Emma was great, very attentive and really knew her stuff.
All of this on top of the fact it's a locally owned establishment? We'll be back soon and often
