The first time at the new location in the food lion shopping center. The food was wonderful. Sausage gravy is amazing. The eggs over medium are delicious. The bacon and toast sandwich was simply the best tasting I've had in a while. Overall, 100 all around. Will be coming back. Oh, I forgot to mention the down home welcome and so very friendly staff. The whole atmosphere reminds me of some of the old country stores I've eaten at while working out of town.

I had a wonderful time here and I enjoyed every bit of the food. They offer fair and hearty portions for the price, I have no complaints at all about that. The staff was kind, our waitress was attentive without being over-bearing and didn't miss a beat. Kitchen staff was working very hard, didn't wait long at all for my breakfast. I hear that seating is a bit of a gamble, on account of busy hours in combination with diners remaining seated for extended periods of time. Take that with a grain of salt. I didn't have to wait long at all though, waited in line to place and pay for my order: and immediately was designated a table. Overall, great food, fair prices, kind and quick staff. 10/10 would recommend

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The biscuits were pretty tasty with a variety of choices for fillings, but I thought they were a little flatter than I am used to. I had sausage and cheese on my biscuit and the sausage had a really good flavor. The service was quick, even with a line at the outside window.

Talk about efficiency! This place has their system down and moves a lot of people in a short amount of time. On to the food. My wife got the sausage biscuits and gravy with eggs over easy, I got the super omelette with bacon, ham, and sausage, biscuit and home fries. We also shared a bowl of grits. Finally, we both got coffee and orange juice. I have tried a lot of sausage gravy in my time. Everything from thick and goopy to watery with way too much flour. This, my friends, was hands down one of the best sausage gravies I have had in a dog's age. It was creamy and had a richness to it without feeling heavy. On top of that, they cut up your biscuit for you, into bite size squares making it that much simpler to get this delicious gravy-biscuit mixture to your mouth expeditiously. My omelette was superb, and even with the amount of meat there was in it, it was not greasy at all. The home fries were perfect; crisp on the outside and fluffy in the center. We both agreed the buttered grits were also great, being smooth and creamy. Bottomless coffees also don't hurt. Definitely worth your time and money. Now, onto my non-food comments, of which I have never done before. I counted no less than 15 people come in while my wife and I ate, and say good morning to multiple people, by first name, as they ordered their breakfast. The same for those leaving. It appeared to be a multigenerational business with multigenerational customers. Everyone knew everyone, which is something I have sorely missed. I loved every minute of it and look forward to our next breakfast here.
