Delicious! Such a wonderful food experience. We had Arepas, Seafood Tostones, an Empanada, and traditional Venezuelan breakfast. Great flavors! And the sauces are to die for. Also had plum juice and avena drinks which were yummy!
Beautifully decorated restaurant, delicious food especially the lentil chicken soup, friendly service and for sure worth trying.
I've never tried Venezuelan food before but this place was great! Heard about them through social media and loved the food here. I had a mamey smoothie and a pabellon cachapa. The food was very different from anything I've eaten before but very delicious. The corn was a little sweet but not super sweet and the meet was very savory and the cheese was perfect. They give you two very thick salsas which are also delicious, but be warned the hot option is VERY hot. Overall a great place to eat that I will return to. Also want to thank the staff, they were so friendly and kind.
This place is a family owned restaurant. The owner and all the family staff are friendly and generous. The drinks are all amazing and come in large portions. The food is all hand made and delicious. The chicken is tender, juicy, and full of rich flavors. We found this place by accident, and have been so happy to come back. We even celebrated our 8th year anniversary over lunch here. We highly recommend this place. It is worth visiting and becoming a regular customer.

Amazing little taste of Venezuelan cuisine in the heart of Downtown Santa Ana, CA. Authentic Venezuelan food. Hard to find that.
Got the pabellón Cachapa (sweet corn pancake w/ beans, shredded beef, and cheese), the pastelitos de carne (beef filled pastry), and passion fruit juice.
Everything was good, my favorite was the pastelitos. Passion fruit was too sweet for me but I'm not into sweets in general.
I see myself frequenting this place whenever I feel like having Venezuelan food.
Food 9.5/10
Service 9/10
Ambiance 8/10
Price 8.5/10
Overall 9/10 would recommend.
Very good place to explore the menu! Alfajores are super yummy. The camaron con tostones was very good. I also tried the plum juice and it was super tasty. If I'm ever in the area I have to stop-even if just for one cheese arepa-which that itself is worth the drive. Staff doesn't speak English any time I've been helped but doesn't make a difference we figure it out and everybody has been polite and patient.
Years ago I had a venezuelan cachapa with a friend from Venezuela. It was one of the most wonderful things I ate and it was in Santa Ana! I could never remember the place. So when I came across this place on Google and read the reviews... I gotta admit I was skeptical... however when I went with a friend of mine. I was NOT disappointed. We were greeted like family when we walked in. I found a parking right out in front...I ordered a Mamey drink and it was SO well balanced, it was Goldilocks in terms of sweet. I ordered an empanada, a chicken cachapa, two arepas... I stuffed myself silly and it was worth every bite and every penny! I wanted to hug the laddies in the kitchen, but I didn't want to be a weirdo so I didn't lol. The food has so much love and attention to detail, it's totally OG. Some people have commented that it's pricy, I would very much disagree with that notion. This is a gem of a business, it's not fast food and it's not made for the masses... so I happily support a business that cares enough to make every dish and every visit a memorable one.
We’re from Houston, TX and love this place! My husband is Venezuelan and he says this food is like food from his mom’s kitchen back home!
Platos de Lentejas is good , as well as lentejas & tequenos!
I have been coming here for at least 20 years. The quality has not changed. They have delicious food and yummy batidos. My favorite is the mamey batido and the tequenos. The guanabana is a close second. You can get your batidos with water or milk which is great for the lactose intolerant folk. The arepas are also very good. My favorite is the Reina pepeada. It's like a chicken salad sandwich. So good. The cachapas are yummy too. I don't think I've ever tried anything I didn't like here. I've had the maracuyá batido, and the mango as well. I've had the empanadas. I've had so many of the arepas. This place is a Santa Ana staple. I don't live in CA anymore but when I'm in town we have to stop here! My family and I love Mil jugos.
We came hungry and left very happy. (That's the motto for some other place but it applies here.) This was my friend's first time trying Venezuelan food. She ordered an arepa with caprese cheese and a mamey shake. I ordered a fish bowl with plantains and a cachapa con queso y frijoles. Never in my life has a pancake tasted so good. It was so savory and the cheese especially is delicious. My friend agreed that their beans are seasoned very well. All their food is very flavorful.
What I especially loved was the customer service. When the waitress first came over, she said "Even if this is your first time trying Venezuelan food, you've already tried pretty much everything on the menu." 😁 She then gave the names of comparable Mexican and Latin dishes.
Their sauce is available for sale. It was so good, we bought the regular and spicy one.
Note: In-person dining is back and I'm so glad. It was such a lovely day. Outdoor seating is also available too.
Authentic delicious Venezuelan food. Great people.
Nice place with artisanal decor. Authentic Venezuelan food made fresh so getting your order may take some time. My first experience at Mil Jugos was nice. The food was tasty but limited on vegetarian/ vegan options. Their menu offers a variety of dishes (including gluten free fare) without being overwhelmed by your choices. I definitely recommend this place.
I love Mil Jugos and always look forward to the next time I'll have opportunity to go. I live in Oceanside, so it's a bit of a trip to go, but completely worth it! I always recommend tequenos. My personal favorite is cachapas con questions y crema! Everything I've had there is great, but I can't not order my cachapa!! Go, you'll love it!!
First time having Venezuelan food! I had the chicharrón arepa with a pineapple juice and I am obsessed. Definitely coming back soon!
Love this place! Every arepa I've ever ordered is fantastic. The empanadas are delicious.
And the juices are so fresh -- gotta try the guanabana juice! Yum!
Perfection from Venezuela’s Norah Briceno. Norah will sit down and help you decide on her dishes, which feed Padres,Dodger and other baseball nationals. There is already so much said and accomplished about this wonderful cook, I can only say, Authentic,Homey atmosphere, great Latin music and satiated food. Not open late, street parking, Handicap, bathroom, chill lounge area. I will always “Come Again’. English and Spanish spoken well here. Please Enjoy!
Pabellón Arepa:
Really juicy shredded beef with plump black beans and slightly pungent cotija. Love it. The corn bread part is pretty dense and filling.
Guasacaca (dark green):
spicy sauce with hints of lime?
Picante (light green):
This tastes like a chimichurri sauce.
