Blackbird - Santa Barbara - Photo album

We went to this restaurant because it has a Michelin star. The ambiance was nice. Very well decorated with a Hitchcock bird theme. Ordered a 2017 wine vintage. They only had the 2020 vintage and we paid the same price for a much younger vintage. Ordered the filet and paid $45 for maybe 3 ounces - it
No more than decent food that should cost about 1/3 of what they charge. $18 burger… nope! It’s a $6 burger. Though the bun was yummy. Fries, which are extra, are from the frozen food isle in your local low brow supermarket; you know what I’m talking about. The staff is nice. Do yourself a favor
Stopped in for drinks tonight. I had remembered an amazing Espresso Martini I had there a couple of years ago. Tonight, the bartender served one that was severely lacking. When I asked why there did not seem to be any creamyness of the one I had before (Baileys), he said that they use Pineapple

We had the Filet mignon, salmon, fish & chips, Caesar salad and Ciro crème brûlée. All the dishes were incredible. Very flavorful and presented beau

Very happy that we could be seated outside on a pleasant evening. But, the 2-top table is four feet across. Holding han
So expensive for what it was. The brussel sprouts tasted like they were boiled and not fully cooked as they were hard. Fries looked like they came straight from a McCains bag and the drinks took forever to arrive. The final nail in the coffin for me was that I left my jacket at the bar and got into
Let me just say that the rib eye was probably one of the best steaks I've ever had in comparison to places like STK, BOA, Penthouse etc... Everything there had great flavor, and the vibe was perfect!! Would definitely go back!👌
