Zazang - Santa Clara - Photo album

Acceptable quality relative to location, portion and price. Location & Relative quality - I moved to San Jose in 2009 and at this moment, have very low expectations at any Korean restaurants in town. If this place was in LA, it will receive a two star. But comparing to other Korean joints in San Jos
I think this place is the consistently best jjajang myeon place in the south bay. The price is good and the food tastes authentic. I used to like Kyopo plaza when they were good, and Nakgung before they closed. I recommend their basic jjajang myeon, and some other jjajang variants. Their jjambbong
Korean comfort food. If you are Korean, or an ex expat who misses the little corner place in Korea. This is the place for you. Made to Korean taste not American. There only thing missing, putting the menu on the walls. 😊
If you're looking for authentic Korean Chinese (Chinese cuisines that have evolved in Korea), this is the place. To be frank, the dishes aren't particularly the best I have tasted, but everything I have tasted here tastes like what you can get around the corner in Korea.
No flavor. Bland noodles with bland sauce. Very questionable food safety practices. You can see the kitchen from the seating area and they use uncovered, undated meat in the dishes.
Fantastic home made noodles, great friendly service and very reasonable pricing. Well worth it. It can get crowded and you may have to wait. I Usually get there a bit early and not had a problem
Home style and home atmosphere kind of Korean noodles. Got the Zazangjeong (their version of Jajamjeong) and it is not bad. Reasonably priced.
Decent noodle place. I like their fried dumplings. It's a very small place though so not the best for big groups though they did gave us extra dumplings on the house :)
