Haven't been here for a while and it has been remodeled with more modern decor. Fortunately, the food actually got better, not sure if they changed owner or/and chef. The seafood pancake was especially good! The short rib was delicious, but a bit expensive!

Amazing Korean food. We always over order just to make sure we have some to take home. The seafood pancake is the best we've had anywhere in the Silicon Valley. The manager is very nice and tries to get see every table to make sure the food and service were spot on.

Great fresh, healthy food! Our waiter talked us through the way to wrap the meat up in lettuce. We tried two cold rice wines. Delightful experience!

I can't believe I've never eaten here! Granted, I'm no Korean food snob, but I loved it. I ordered the #55. To start off they gave me seven small dishes of appetizers. There were cold glass noodles with a slightly tangy taste, rice noodles with a savory sauce, kimchi, turnip? in a red spicy sauce, potatoes, carrots, and onions with a savory flavor, something that looked like noodles made of tofu at first, but were made of fish cakes and were amazing, and one other thing I'm forgetting. Then there was the main course. First miso soup (which was not too salty, which was nice) and rice, then on a sizzling platter a heaping mound of Korean BBQ beeef with a sweet and savory marinade on top of a bed of raw onions and mushrooms that crackled and sizzled between the meat and the hot plate and ended up getting cooked in the juices. The rice was just the right amount of stickiness so that I could eat it as a palate cleanser between bites using just the chopsticks and without picking up the bowl. I've seen some people ding them on the service, but I had great service when I went.

Delicious banchan were flavored just right, not overly sweet or vinegary. My favorite was the glass noodles. BBQ short ribs and grilled mackerel both came out sizzling and fresh.

One of my favorite Korean places in the Bay Area. Lots of good banchan (side dishes), and friendly service. The seafood pancake is super crispy and full of seafood and veggies. Ssam bap or bossam (meat + veggie wraps) are a great deal and fun to eat too! Other: They usually play Korean cooking channels or sports on the TVs. Bathroom is outside the restaurant.
