Their dish is simple yet delicious! Without sauce it may feel bland but, with one the taste is next level. This is my favorite when I am craving something delicious, warm and non-spicy. Even their bbq chicken is good! Not a fan of the soup though. I guess it comes free for a reason đŸ¤”
It’s one of those San Francisco style hipster joint, pricey but fresh quality ingredients. The chicken and sauces have good flavors but the menu is limited. I like the ginger based sauces. You can ordered two types of chicken in one dish. Overall, Chicken Meets Rice is not a destination restaurant
Delicious. Ordered dark meat with skin (1/2 chicken rice, 1/2 brown rice. Thai ginger sauce & ginger scallion sauce) & iced coffee meets tea (coffee mixed with tea) This is Malaysian style. Appreciate they take all bones out. But suggest to try dark meat instead of white meat.
The food was amazing. I had the fried chicken entrée with chicken rice and I would give it 5 on 5. The place is nice and clean. And it’s self service. I went during a Saturday afternoon and the wait time was very minimal. The service was quick.
Usually come here for work and it never disappoints. I get the classic chicken rice with mixed chicken with scallion sauce. The rice is okay and the mixed dark and light chicken are juicy but the scallion sauce is so good. It lifts everything up to a next level. They have other types of chicken and

Soup was aight, wasn't steaming, I'd say above lukewarm, reminded me of Campbell's chicken noodle soup. Entree was good, picked sweet chili and chili Singapore. Sauces a bit smaller, made due. Will be b
I love this place. Way better than Rooster and Rice but what made me keep coming back was the fried chicken skins that goes well with the Hainan chicken. Please bring it back! It was sooooo good.
I always come back for the Hainanese Chicken ( Dark Meat) and its so filling! Love the variety of sauces, just sad that now they are limited to 2 free choices. Nevertheless, delicious and reminds me of home.
