I think the Hindquarter bar and grill is the best restaurant with the best food and the most pleasant people that work there I've ever seen . I love this place so much I recommend it to all.
The food is top notch all the way around. Try their Smokey platter or one of their pasta dishes or salads, or try their phenomenal burgers. Very professional and classy place yet they also cater to the average working person. Karaoke on Friday nights make this place a great place to have fun. (y)
Great serice and good prime rib. Was nkt that thrilled with fried artichokes as they were "meh." (Just ok.) Our bartenders during happy hour were very nice and poured a good drink. I recommend this place.

Its Been at Least 30 Years Since Ive been Here for Dinner. I found It decades ago to Have Dinner. Ive Heard They are Famous For Pork Chops. Then I started going Once a Week Just For The Applewood Smoked Pork Chops. Fantastic !!!! When New Owners Took Over.I tried it And the Chops was Very Dry Chewy. Last Night 7/29/18. I went Again. Wow Delicious Great Flavor 2 Pork Chops. Their Sunday Night Special. They are on Regular Menu Served With veggies and Scalloped Potatoes. For Dessert I Had the Special Strawberry Mud Pie Light Strawberry ice Cream Topped With a Chocolate Ganache Ill Go Again For Pork Chops
We have lived in Santa Cruz 20 years and somehoe we never had been here. Weβve missed out. Service and food was excellent. One of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time.

Was pleasantly surprised at the size of their servings and the array of items they have on their menu. The combination appetizer was a meal in itself for 2 people!
We went on the busiest night of the year, which also happened to be my birthday. Our service was excellent. The food was perfect. The service was a little slow,but not too bad. Considering it was Valentine's Day , we were not upset. Food was cooked perfectly and served hot. We loved our total experience. Wine glasses come a lot fuller than other restaurants. Laurie is a wonderful owner and waitress.

HQ is one of our local go-to's. There's a great selection to choose from, the service is always friendly and helpful, and I love their house made potato chips!

Tuesday night is Pork Chop Night! One of Favorites! Nice Large Portions π The only thing we wished they did, is provide us with Dinner π₯ Salads that came with the meal! Most restaurants do this with no extra cost! I β€ this place, but for The $ Price! I think they should be able to throw in a π₯ Salad or two! Otherwise Good π Food!
