Great meal all the way around. They don’t do reservations so dropped in at 5pm when they opened for an early dinner. Filled up quickly - was rainy no outdoor seating - good vibe inside. Our waiter Spencer was fun and great service. Everything we got pretty darn tasty. Their bourbon specialty cocktail “The Professor” highly recommend. Chicken with sweet potatoes, pepperoni pizza, bread and butter and caesar salad all highly tasty. Going back for sure.

Friendly servers, good vibes. Fresh ingredients for salad and pizza. I didn’t enjoy the salad but margarita and anchovy pizzas were both delicious.

Fabulous pizza. Amazing dessert. Delicious carrots which were ( unfortunately) double the price they should have been for the tiny portion. ☹️ Other than that and the hostess who wasn't very welcoming because we showed up 3 minutes before they opened and they weren't ready yet ( and she was kinda short about it rather than apologizing to us), dinner and service were great. So, aside from those two relatively minor annoyances, a great dinner. And I hope they take this feedback as it is meant- constructively.

This place was great. We were a large group with kids and were magically able to get a table pretty quickly. All the food was excellent - we tried several pizzas and a pork belly dish. The favorites were the salad - we all shared a Caesar and the fennel citrus salad which was outstanding! The atmosphere is fun and a tiny bit sophisticated and the service was perfect for a group with kids.

The service was great as well as the drinks. The pizza... Dear God the pizza. It's outstanding! I had to get a to-go order just so I could enjoy it again. The picture is of the prosciutto pie. I would have gotten a picture of the pepperoni but... It.. Yeah, it was gone.

Really good pizza! Very friendly staff in a nice looking restaurant with great natural lighting. We ate inside, but they also offer outdoor seating for maximum natural light. The bread appetizer tasted good despite taking some physical effort to eat. My main knock is their $12 mocktail that I didn't like, although my girlfriend was ok with it. There's decent parking on the side and back.

OMG.... We go here all the time, at least once a week.(this week we went twice), and we have never ever been disappointed. Amazing food, chill vibe, and killer cocktails.. menu always changes, and you can't go wrong

After sending friends and clients there soo many times...I finally went to Bantam last weekend. This is the gem of Santa Cruz.
The chicken was amazing as was the pizza with fiscalini cheese and the padron peppers with watermelon. I want more of everything!
The atmosphere is open, a bit spare and still manages to be warm. Love the industrial fixtures, huge ceiling fan, cement floor and the amazing ceramic subway tile. The word "pretentious" doesn't exist at Bantam. Cool, friendly, down to earth and lively pretty much cover the vibe here.
Alex, our host was friendly and was spot on with his estimate of wait time for a table. Our server was lovely and it seemed all the servers just looked happy to be there, and that's saying a lot for Santa Cruz.
Yum, 5 stars. You gotta go!

Best Margherita pizza in town, and one of the best I've had. Thin crust with a crisp, smokey exterior, yet soft inside. That's what an 800° wood fired oven can deliver. Will definitely be returning to explore the menu further!
