Really quiet and nice place to chill at. We tried the vegetarian gyros, the eggplant moussaka, cheese and spinach spanakopita. The moussaka was served with a very well dressed, fresh and tart salad. It perfectly complimentary to the heavy, creamy moussaka. The gyros was stuffed with fresh veggies and looked great. The spanakopita, however, was dry and bland.
I loved the colour of the ceiling and how well it went with all the rest of the decor.
I love Vasili's. I am craving their vegetarian platter right now. Their portions are large enough to share but I rarely do. My husband and I love their Skordalia!
Lamb as dry as old sandals
The most delicious gyro. Excellent house. Soup. Fries with Greek seasoning will become a favorite
Great service. Great food! I had the lamb kabob lunch special place; lamb being some of the best I had ever. Baklava was above average, but a challenge to review as I had a better one at La Mediterranée on San Francisco. The skordalia as an appetizer being something newly introduced to me by fellow dining friend was wonderful. I would definitely eat here again and hope to next time I am in Santa Cruz.
Good Lamb Kebab. Honestly have never tried anything else on the menu since it is the best lamb!
