If you want outstanding food, outstanding service and an outstanding view of Santa Cruz this is the place to go. The only place in Santa Cruz where you can eat and enjoy the food in the calm. Perfect for romantic dinners. 10 stars!!
We ended up here by default after failing to make a dinner reservation for our anniversary. Recommended to us by a local, it was a little hard to find but very much worth it
The food and service was excellent and the prices reasonable. We had a stunning view of the city and hills at sunset and it was quite romantic. Couldn't have done better if we'd planned. Highly recommend!!
We had my husbands birthday party at the Hollins House. Big shout out to Carter, Caroline, and Tamara for making it a super special evening. Another shout out to the chef. The food was outstanding. Thank you!
Such an amazing place to eat! The chef puts so much effort into every meal! The presentation is outstanding! The food is to die for! Local organic ingredients! There is a garden just outside the restaurant doors where the chef picks out garnishes for his dishes. Hand made pasta daily! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The views are stunning. I always look forward to dinner at Hollins House! Keep up the great work and I can not wait to come back!
Was there for a wedding. Nice place and the event staff was great and on point. Staff was very friendly and courteous but never out of place. View was great food was fantastic. We had a great time. Definitely a gem.
Giselle and her team were amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Could not be happier that we chose The Hollins House for our wedding venue. The customer service was next level, all of our guests raved about the food, and the views and property are so stunning for a wedding. We didn't have to rent extra decor or spend a ton on flowers bc the venue is so stunning on its own. Highly recommend The Hollins House for anyone looking to get married in Santa Cruz.
Had a really great dinner. Was there early and got a table in the bar area which is classic worn in wood paneled and great views - could see all the way to Monterey. Out waitress was absolutely great - fun and available but didn't rush. Everything we had was delectable and we will definitely come back. The chef himself brought out dessert (warm chocolate cake with ice cream which rocks) and it was clear he takes pride in what's happening at Hollins House.
Beautiful place to wine and dine in Santa Cruz with breathtaking views. The menu is a nice collection of different cuisines with an homage to local ingredients (King Salmon).
My tip: Try the Tuna Poke, which is playfully served under a large, thin rice paper wafer
One of the best meals I've had in quite some time. They had a black cod dish on the special menu and it was phenomenal. Views are incredible, value was excellent and service was solid. If I'm ever back in the area I will go out of my way to come back here.
The Hollins House is perfection. The space and views are beyond gorgeous. The staff is warm and friendly. The food is delicious and high quality. Carter and the wedding team could not have been any better. I am so honored to have gotten married in such an idyllic place surrounded by such amazing people. We go back all the time for dinner and are never disappointed. One of the absolute highlights of the Bay Area.
One of my absolute favorite places in Santa Cruz. Chef JP is so talented and creative with his menu choices. The patio is breath taking and so naturally beautiful for a wedding.
Hannah is one of the managers and she is very professional with my guest & I on every question we had.
