Nice big burritos, but not as good as I remember. It's been a few years since I went here last, and I remember it as a great post-surf breakfast burrito spot. Picked up a couple of maternity/paternity leave burritos today for me and my wife, though, and despite the massive size they were a bit underwhelming. My wife actually said she preferred the breakfast burrito from Cat and Cloud, and I would have preferred a machaca breakfast burrito from one of our local taquerias. Their salsa also needs some help. Super bland. So...not bad for a big post-workout grind, but you could find more standout flavors in other local breakfast burritos.

Huge portions!! Thought it looked a little pricey but once we received our food everything was so big we had to save half for later. Worth the price. One star off for not the friendliest of service but what can you expect when no one wants to work and everyone is still on unemployment! Overall good, quick service (weekday)

Chill out is a small local restaurant. This place was fantastic. Location is good! The interior was very clean. The cashier and cook were amazingly kind and helpful. Especially when I didn't see the obvious cash only sign. If you don't have cash there is an ATM on the inside. I got a veggie breakfast burrito with a iced latte. I got an jalapeno tortilla. The food was amazingly tasty the coffee was good. Nothing "Starbuckish". More authentic than sugar drink. Overall, my experience was amazing and the food and drink were tasty. Love this place and will go again!

By far the best spot to get a breakfast or lunch. We took 2 vegetarian burrito to go and went eating by the coast, it was awesome. Plenty of vegetarian options, cheaper ($7-$9 for a burrito) than anywhere else is the area. The only down side is the payment method, it is cash only.

Hands down, the best (vegetarian burrito) I've ever had in the US, will definitely visit again (hopefully with my entire family haha)!

First time I’ve ever been to this little dive restaurant on 41st St. in Capitola. They have a large assortment of coffee drinks, breakfast burritos, and sandwiches. Seems very popular with the locals as you see the line going out the door. They are cash only so keep that in mind but I would definitely recommend the food was great, the service was fast, at prices you really can’t beat.

This place is EPIC. Kickass vibe, great burritos, friendly staff.

I LOVE this place. However, it seems as though they changed their recipe. Usually the breakfast burritos have these tasty shredded hash browns that are so good. I feel like they are the whole reason the breakfast burritos are the bomb. But today the potatoes were boiled mushy grossness and I was so disappointed. I am really hoping this is a one off. BRING BACK THE TASTY HASHBROWNS PLEASE!!!!

Love Chill Out for breakfast burritos. Plenty of vegetarian options too if that is your thing. Cash Only. Dog friendly. Outdoor 'beer garden' if you'd like to dine there and outside. Great neighborhood spot. Rarely a wait during weekdays for lunch, but I've seen it get busy on the weekends.

The best breakfast burritos in the area!! The staff are very friendly, and the vibe is right. My favorite Saturday morning spot.

Chill Out Cafe is the best! We always stop on the way to the beach or before shopping! Their burritos are delicious and keep me filled up til dinner! My fave is a breakfast burrito any time of day. The employed are always nice and super chill. The backyard redwood eating area is peaceful and pretty. It's fun to eat inside and watch the passing cars and people. Thanks for a great cafe!!

This place was a little slice of home. The service was excellent, the food was more than delicious and fresh, and even the crowd it drew were nice, fun to talk to people. They have a great outdoor area that feels like you are in the woods only blocks away from the sea. Thanks for the wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!

Already feel at home. This place is bomb! If you’re in Santa Cruz you should stop here first! Tell him Jeff sent you.

Great food! Nice out door eating area. Cool staff. Remember cash only! But totally worth it!

Big white guy order taker was just tolerant of us. Didn't feel real welcome our first time there, I have to say.
Burritos were good, but they need to either cook the green chilies longer or peel off the plastic-feeling skins before chopping them up.
A not - so - fatty size would be nice for those of not wanting to devour one the size of a newborn puppy.

Best coffee in town, and the music selection is great! Good luck to our Barista in her future at the Art Institute of San Francisco!
