One of my favorite places to eat in all of San Cruz! Absolutely delicious “Mexican farmhouse” food. Yum.
When it comes to Mexican food, this place makes me feel as though my mom made the food, it's so good, authentic, affordable and honestly quite amazing-they have restaurant grade dishes yet they have so little space to work from, resources at it's best!
Been coming here since 2011. The mole plate, tinga plate, Frida Khalo soup and Mexican mocha are all delicious.
Very cute place, very good food! The spice level is JUST good enough to make it interesting, but not too spicy. The Mexican hot chocolate comes with a giant roasted marshmallow (see photo)!
Best authentic Mexican food. Dina the owner presents her particular regional food that most Mexican restaurants lack in authenticity. Instead of providing a general stereotypical cuisine this place represents something rare in Mexican cuisine. Food is excellent and so are the unique beverages made by her instead of being store bought. You can definitely taste the locally sourced ingredients in her dishes and drinks. Besides her cooking she has another cook who does an excellent job as well. There's only outdoor seating but it makes the eating experience more pleasurable. Usually closes before 6pm.
I love this place but why has it been closed 7 days a week for the past months?! I need their food but e eryday it’s closed. Why
Small unassuming kiosk serving not just some of the best Mexican food in town, but some of the best food overall. You might need to wait a bit (it’s a tiny kiosk, be patient), but it will be worth it, I promise.
