Nice location just off of Pacific Ave in downtown Santa Cruz. Open spaces inside with good ventilation (COVID times) and outside dining as well. Lot's of options to choose from on the menu and excellent service. The vegetarian options were fantastic. We really enjoyed the veggie options that we chose (mushroom, yam, early riser tacos). They we flavorful and very fresh. The fish tacos we tried seemed a little confused. We could not figure out if they were supposed to be fried or grilled and in the end were dry. Will definitely go back and enjoy some more of the vegetarian ones.

Great Tacos at Awesome Price! Nice welcoming place, good music and happy environment. Definitely worth a visit while in downtown Santa Cruz

We were very happy with our first visit! Tacos are priced well, and are made with good ingredients. They are a little underseasoned for my taste, but I know I like exceptionally bold and spicy food, so I'm sure their flavours will appeal to a broader crowd. Plus they are more kid friendly this way! The Good Fortune pork taco was the only one that seemed underfilled. All others were generous with helpings of meat. They offer good hot sauce. Once added the tacos are near perfect. House margarita is great as well. My kid loved the car he could play in! I would like to see a Korean inspired taco. Fun decor and I love all the booths they added!! We will return soon!

Delicious taco selection, most of which are gluten free too! Menu is well labelled for other GF options. Good selection of beers and cocktails, including pretty substantial happy hour discounts until 6pm. Definitely recommended.

Three of us ate here, and we had a variety of tacos. I had the Baja fish tacos, which were delicious, though small. It seemed a bit overpriced, especially for this area filled with students. My friend had "old school" tacos. Her iced coffee was like eight ounces of coffee in a glass filled with ice for five dollars. She was not happy with the price. My other friend had the guacamole and chips which were both delicious.

We’re vegetarians, and love tacos. We decided to shoot for the moon and order a bunch of items. Snap Taco just tries too hard and comes up short.
Chili Queso is basically canned nacho sauce with a chipotle pepper.
Guacamole is relatively bland, and had huge pieces of avocado. Chunks are ok. Whole slices are not.
Extra avocado comes with the skin on it.
Included avocado had a big chunk of brown.
Sweet potato taco was just weird with the mint.
Mushroom taco was overloaded and the sauce wasn’t good.
The breakfast burrito was just ok. The potato was nothing special and was borderline undercooked. I will say I’d consider having it again though.
Black beans aren’t vegetarian, typically meaning lard.
Overall I’d says key ingredients were fine, and atmosphere is great. Sauces need work, and Snap needs to stop overthinking their tacos.
Friendly and helpful staff. Would try again if they changed up the vegetarian offerings and got their guacamole game straightened out.

I didn't know, but I had some wonderful tacos here! The fish taco was fantastic, many people around me enjoyed this as well. I also tried the sweet potato which was so lovely, healthy and delicious. And the mushroom taco was quite nice, crispy mushrooms and a tasty sauce. There are many options to sit, inside or outside in the front or they have a courtyard which is more private. Staff was cute and friendly and I know my friends will like the cocktail choices!

Fun spot with lots of interesting options. We have tacos and quesadillas, everything was really tasty. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable (we had to make a lot of changes to the dishes).
