I have been going here consistently over the past year and they are unfortunately declining in quality of service. My perception is they are trying to do more with less. Time to pick a new sushi spot for me :(

Great sushi, happy employees, could be a bit more timely but can't win every battle! Definitely would recommend calling in to order (not using the online ordering systems)
They are on the other side of town from me but they are my top 3 sushi places to eat at in Santa Cruz. The 14 piece sushi platter that comes with 6 different fish and two half roles a eggrole, miso soup, and dessert is my go to. Great prices with fresh high quality sushi is great reasons to give MG
Really good sushi. Tempura was spot on. Nice room inside. Peaceful. We had a variety of rolls and so if them were good. The teriyaki chicken bowl was very good too. The sushi was very tender and fresh. I look forward to coming back.
