Love this place. Family owned. This right here is my definition of true texas. You will not find a higher quality cut of meat anywhere else around here. You will not fiend a happier, friendlier, more helpful staff. Doreck’s is THE butcher for us. Fast and friendly service. Try going to H‑E‑B and finding a quality cut of steak for the same price. You won’t find it there. Go to Doreck’s. I won’t even bother buying steaks from any other place. Highly recommend.

Great choice. The great smells hit us in the parking lot. The clerk, cooks, even the guys in the back making sausage were ALL friendly, upbeat and helpful

We discovered this place thru a post on our Bay Area Food Lovers social media group and it was amazing; I had the ribeye sandwich with onion rings and my husband got the double meat basket with the fries.
Let me tell you it tasted amazing!!! Definitely will be coming back to try other items on their menu. Great Job Dorecks ❤️

I has a pig an cow kill,the butchered made the best sausage I have every tasted, my husband order us a hamburgers that was the best burger I every has go try it for yourself that was an old fashioned burger,very very delicious
Walked in and I was quickly greeted and helped! I got a few ribeyes and pork blade steaks at a great price. I brought my father-in-law from Minnesota to try the BBQ and he had a great brisket sandwich with great Onion rings! I cannot recommend this small town butcher enough!
This was my 1st time eating lunch here. That was some of the best brisket I've ever had! The brisket grilled cheese sandwich was amazing!
I love this place! They make the best sausage. You can't find or buy sausage like this at the store. I also like their beef plate ribs. There's plenty of meat on them and the cuts are of good quality. I drive all the way here from town to get my meats.
Great meat market and awesome deer processing. They have a great assortment of meats and numerous options for getting deer and other game processed. Their prices are reasonable as well no matter what you are getting from them.

Very good deer processing. The pan sausage is my favorite. Also the ribeye sandwich is incredible.
Pretty delicious, great flavor. husband’s double cheeseburger lettuce, tomato and pickle was a lil on the dry side but he added bbq sauce and he enjoyed his. My single cheeseburger with everything on it was delicious lil burnt on the edges but still delicious. Also super greasy. The fries weren’t seasoned and over cooked but all in all I’d go back most definitely. Never tried and the place is a huge staple in the lil town.
I grew up in Santa Fe on our family's cattle ranch, and I remember my dad taking some of our steers up to Doreck's for processing. I always loved the way it smelled inside the store, especially the sausage! Unfortunately, I live up in the hill country now and hadn't been back down there in almost 16 years to experience that wonderful smell of spices & meat! I miss it so much and am very happy to see Doreck's is still open! It is, by far, the best meat market in Texas!!
I had never heard of this place till my friend told me about it. I have stomach cancer and cannot handle the processed meats (I was having pain from eating them) but the meat is so fresh. They ladies helping us was amazing!! This place is truly a god send.

Very nice place! Counter folk very helpful and attentive, especially for my first visit. They also have a small food counter where you can try many of the meats firsthand. We got the large meat bundle and it was all fresh cut, not like most places that serve all frozen. They've been in business a very long time and it's easy to see why. Will return!
Love the ribeye sandwich, and the brisket is off the charts.
I've always had good experiences here. Unfortunately it's a little too far and I grow our own beef for me to buy much there though I do love their sausage. Today I took in a cow for butchering. They are always real professional and really good to work with. Really appreciate Raymond and Laurie (sp) as they are always so helpful. Raymond makes the best ribeye sandwich that I have ever had and would highly recommend

Cant believe it took me this long to try this place after moving to santa fe. Hands down the best burgers around galveston and houston area. Cant wait to try the rest of the menu. Ladies upfront were great also.
