We had such a great meal from delicious beginning to decadent ending! So happy we tried it this time! We will definitely become regulars! We had a great window booth and a wonderful server! The spicy fish and chips are fabulous!
Flash back to the 50's! Crowded, but good food and great service. All-American food with a Southwestern flavor. Spicy fish and chips were very good.
This place never disappoints. The food is great, and is obviously homemade from their own recipes. Everything I've tried has been delicious. I appreciate the genuinely friendly service as well. I love to try new places when I visit Santa Fe, but Plaza Cafe is a must with every visit!
We wet up with family from Oklahoma, Colorado and California this became our favorite place to eat. You can even share servings are large enough. If you love apple pie or carrot cake you have to get it and share.
Never be afraid to try a new place... lunch with Kathy was fantastic! I ordered the trifecta: 3 street tacos - carnitas, chicken & calabacitas, a palate delight! Make sure to add to your list when in Santa Fe!
I highly recommend this place! I had the Indian fry bread taco and my husband had the street tacos. Food was delicious! Excellent service, staff is so friendly! We were too stuffed for dessert! Will definitely go back every time we are in Santa Fe!
The food is authentic to New Mexico, the red and green chili’s are hot if you are not local, the people are wonderful and the service is great! The Plaza is a must when in Santa Fe, NM.
Service was awesome. I'm from California and was here visiting family. By far one of the best mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at!
Fast and friendly service, Home Style menu with the best pie in town!!!
First time visitor with my family, LOVED OUR EXPERIENCE! Sweet service! Sweet meal! Sweet Red Velet Cake! Will definitely return and recommend to all family and friends!
Lovely outdoor seating. Delicious food. Service was excellent. Our first meal in the Plaza was here and my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids portions were a good size. Very popular so arriving early is recommended.
We loved this place so much, we came back for breakfast the next day. The atmosphere is homey and artsy, from the floor tile to the wall art. I ordered a cup of posole (red) and it was flavorful! My brother-in-law really liked his hatch chili burger, it was very filling. My sister ordered the Traditional Breakfast. Breakfast is served all day. Our waitress, Sharon, was very friendly and gave tips on which items to order. My sister ordered a hot chocolate with whipped cream and said it was delicious. We also ordered food to go and it came promptly without having to wait. The key lime pie was large enough to share and also delicious.
The second time we came, my brother-in-law got the huevos rancheros with green sauce and said it was even better then the burger! The pancakes were fluffy with crunchy edges. Sooo good! Also, the music fit the cafe perfectly. Diner music last night and 70’s today. Highly recommend!!!
We visited here due to it being said that 8t had the best food especially the paipillas. The food turned out amazing even if we had to wait fir the paipillas. It was well worth the wait. If you visit here, make sure you ask to sit up front. We had the last seat in the Cafe and it was the loudest because it was next to the kitchen.

Fantastic location and great food. Sitting outside was a big plus on a beautiful and sunny Autumn day. Food selection was great. Food was good although prices were on the high side. The service was excellent, but the front desk receptionist was probably having a hard time as she was not nice at all...well it can happen! Although there Arte many dinning places in Santa Fe this old timer restaurant is among the best.
Excellent New Mexican food! I had the Chicken Enchiladas and my hubby had the Chicken Burrito. The green chili's were spicy, but not too hot. The Soppapaillas melted in your mouth. We ate out on the patio in the Plaza...so beautiful. A great meal for our last day in New Mexico. Oh, and staff was wonderful!
Food was okay, nothing I would rave over, service was excellent, sat outside and felt rushed to eat when the manager began rolling the tarp above us. The calabacitas could have used cheese or more seasoning, as well as the chicken in the enchilada.
I’ve eaten at this wonderful eatery every time I’ve visited Santa Fe! Now that I’ve decided to move here this will be my regular breakfast spot! Have only had breakfast here but it’s been absolutely awesome! The Blue Pinion pancakes are my favorite! Great service, atmosphere and excellent food! Highly recommend this establishment!
