Couldn’t remember the title or the author and only had a vague description of the book. The staff immediately knew I was talking about “Trail of Lightning” by Rebecca Roanhorse. Thanks to their awesomeness I got a copy of this incredible book - which I’m loving

Can't say enough good things about my first visit to this bookstore coffeehouse. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable at the counter (Darrell). Good coffee. Smiles. And I bought a book. So all is well with the world

My first book reading event was on July 24, 2017, at Collected Works. Dorothy and Cecile welcomed me as if we were friends rather than strangers. The event was publicized well and was very well-attended. Santa Feans in attendance made me feel like family with all the tight abrazos I received. Thank you, Collected Works, for making my first event as an author so special.

Was just there today on a rainy day in Santa Fe to browse some titles. I found the latest David Mitchell novel "Slade House" among other necessary reading. I only support local businesses and this place has everything you need, a huge selection of hardcover and paperbacks of all genres. They also do special orders. Great staff, friendly, and a chill environment. It's my go to place for good vibes.

One of those rare finds in cities today, a community bookstore.

This place is awesome! It's got the old bookstore feel. We found just the right gift for our granddaughter. I would like to come back and have coffee and sit for a while.

Great concept, books and coffee. We love to support independent bookstores. The set up is great. But cannot give 5 stars. Why sell coffee and not allow people to sip and shop. In a restaurant you do not have to wear a mask if you are eating or drinking. We bought coffee and since we were sipping coffee we did not wear a mask. After about 30 minutes, we placed our purchases on the counter and then were asked/ told to put on a mask. I apologized and one of the ladies, somewhat rudely, informed us that coffee could be sipped without a mask only in the cafe area. There is no division between the cafe and the bookstore. Not once were we informed a mask was needed while we browsed with coffee. We understand the NM ordinance, but a more courteous way could have been used for out of town visitors supporting their store. Praying we can get back to our normal lives soon!!!

Such a wonderful local bookstore. Extremely well stocked for its size with the most friendly and helpful staff. Anything they do not have they will be happy to order and give you a personal call when it arrives. They also offer free gift wrapping year round which is a blessing to have for a quick gift.

Okay I don't know if I'm supposed to say this because I don't want to get them into trouble but these guys are awesome because they have really good coffee and good books and they let me bring my dog in because it was really cold out. She's a really good dog, shes clean and well-bahaved and she laid by the fireplace far away from any of the food or beverage service areas in the event that any enterprising official from the city of Santa Fe wishes to try and jam them up for being nice people. I'm watching you enterprising official!

What a lovely little place. We enjoyed our visit with our family of four. Reading, sketching, playing chess and puzzling. Jewel was very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed 2 other food establishments she recommended on our visit. Thank you!

Visiting Santa Fe for a week, I wanted to spend 1/2 my time here! Outstanding bookstore and coffee shop with large selection of books -- including huge selection of Santa Fe-, NM-, and Southwest works! A must-visit for tourists/travelers wanting to learn more about the area's history and culture!

How does one review a combination bookstore and espresso bar? The building is neither a collection of books or a mechanism to deliver coffee, rather it is an experience, an ecosystem, and one part does not exist without the other. The smell of freshly ground beans is a part of the smell of fresh paper is a part of the sound of brewing coffee, all of which creates the impression that these are People Who Read, that their books and recommendations are to be trusted, and that theirs is a store which should be supported.

Visiting the Collected Works Bookstore is also on our list when we come to Santa Fe. The Collected Works is an iconic independent books store that is well organized and has a great selection of books. There staff selections are great and they also have a lot of books about the local area.
