Went there this morning for breakfast/snack pastries. Everything was good and reasonably priced. Empanada was my favorite. They have different fillings but I only tried the bavarian which is really good. My son devour the chocolate chip cookies. Daughter likes the triple-flavored cookies. Husband had cinnamon sugar donut. We love trying mom and pop shop like this. It's a must try when in Santa Fe!
Delicious pastries and very cheap! We got an array of 6 for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. The owners are very sweet too. A must try!
The asada tacos were delicious. Order comes with 5 small tacos, light on the meat, avocado slices, tomatoes and lettuce. And a side of rice and refried beans. Loved it all! It was a perfect portion. Also bought a pack of fresh corn tortillas and biscochitos. The biscochitos are coffee mug round, thin(the way I like them) and good flavor. Service was good as well.
We absolutely LOVE Panderia Zargoza. We are from Northern Colorado. We will never find anything this up north. We will visit this bakery everytime we are in Santa Fe and we will highly recommend this bakery to others!
If you think, as I sometimes do, that there are few people left who work hard, do good work, and have good attitudes, then this place is a tonic. Everything is delicious, economical, and done with a smile. You will both do good and do well by going here. Lately I was there at lunch time so I picked up a carne asada burrito besides my usual baked goods.. Tender beef, hefty size, and hot dipping sauce.. What a deal! Get your next take-out there.
This is one of the treasures of living in santa Fe. This tiny family owned bakery offers Mexican and Mexican/French based pastries in variety. They have carnitas on weekends . And they offer other Mexican foods to go. During the holiday season you can order specialty tamales.
Staff is bilingual and friendly. Be aware if you go there it could become a habit.
I have walked by this little building so many times and thought, "hmmm, should I?" Tonight I finally did after seeing Great reviews online and I Am So Happy this Is Now On my Radar. The moment I walked in the atmosphere was Welcoming, Warm/Bright and Jovial. I did not get the gentleman's name who was working the counter, but I Immediately Connected as he had Kind Eyes and a Joyful Spirit. I kept it simple tonight with 2 canolis (when he told me the price my jaw dropped with delight- the reviews are accurate about the reasonable prices) and a Yerba Mate. I Will Return to try more and look forward to doing so. I want to try the Coffee and other food from their menu. Yes, the pastries are available and also, a food menu, as well. Great Experience! Will Return.
