Exquisite Filet Mignon! Loved the patio dining area, surrounded by gardens, a koi pond and water features. Very polite and efficient staff. Our server, Jesus was fantastic, (and handsome too!). Highly recommend! Be sure to make a reservation. All CDC guidlines being followed, for COVID-19.

This was my first time at the Hitching Post. It was wonderful from start to finish! We were greeted warmly and seated right by the grill where you can see all meals being prepared. What fun! Come hungry because it's a real feast starting with anti-pasta, a shrimp cocktail and ending with dessert, and coffee or tea...all included. I'd definitely recommend a visit to this out of the way jewel!

Not messing around with the steak. Probably one of my top 3 food experiences. Though the fries are better than fast food, they're still just fries. Get the baked potato. All said and done: great food and worth the price.

The food is always amazing. When you order the same thing that you ordered 5 years ago it will be exactly the same amazing meal. They specialize in prime aged beef and serve the best that I have ever eaten. The filet is tender and favorable throughout from the first bite to the last. Bon appetit!

World renowned for a reason. This place has one of the best before 6pm dinners in Casmalia on the central coast. The grilled artichoke appetizer was absolutely phenomenal. The halibut was grilled to perfection. And, the steak was absolutely delicious. The dinner also came with an ice cream dessert and coffee or tea after your dinner. It's seems expensive but if you go before 6pm, totally affordable. The service was great and the ambiance is really cool. Definitely a destination place to go.

Our family is six celebrated an anniversary on October 13th. Every one of us had delicious food, awesome service from everyone. Plenty of outdoor seating available. We were there several weeks ago and had the same awesome experience. The only thing we would change is to ask to be seated near a fan as we had tons of flies flying all around our food continually. Shot next to a plant that is known for having hummingbirds and bees attracted to it. We did ask our server to let the manager know if they could please get fly traps that hang off to the side so they're inconspicuous so others can enjoy their food. We made the best of it but for the money we paid $125 plus a couple... it was a challenge to enjoy our meal without laughing about the flies.

I have to admit that this has to be one of the best steaks that I've ever had. The restaurant has a nice ambient with very competent waiters.
