I went to this place last night and I was seriously impressed. It was very busy so booking a table is a must if you don't want a long wait. The menu is extensive and a bit pricey but the food was delicious. Perfect for a birthday/ anniversary/ special occasion. My waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu, he even could tell me what dishes were gluten free off the top of his head. I would definitely recommend and visit again if I'm back over.
Great food. Wonderful ambiance. Good drinks and a great wine list. What’s not to love. Oh, and the best sea bass I’ve ever eaten.
Fantastic place ....we only wanted a light meal and ended up with oysters lobster scallops and fritto misto a few proseccos absolutely enjoyed the lot .Highly reccommend a visit here .
Top notch, memorable; extensive wine list as are all King's Seafood restaurants. Try the black cod entree. It will blow your mind.

The fish here is top notch. - was fortunate to have some fresh Alaskan Halibut which I can say was some of the highest quality I’ve had.
The food and ambiance was perfect. Though pricey it was worth it especially for Father’s Day
Service was wonderful. Food was so good. Just a great atmosphere. And to we Ladies, the wonderful lady in the Ladies room is so nice. Make sure you tip her well. I will be back soon.

Very good food, atmosphere and service. I had octopus and was delicious and then had the sword fish that was very tasty. Nick was our server and very good service. Didn't find a desert to my taste but in general the meal was great. Recommended.
We were pleasantly surprised by this waterfront seafood restaurant. While it may not boast 5-star cuisine, it exceeded our expectations, especially with their delicious oysters. The sushi was decent but not outstanding. The calamari was over cooked. What truly shone was our exceptional server and the fantastic view of the beach. It's an ideal spot for out-of-town visitors exploring the Santa Monica neighborhood. To top it off, the bread pudding with maple ice cream was a delightful way to conclude the meal.
The only thing lacking here was the fried calamari. The rest, including the lobster roll and the jumbo shrimp louie salad was amazing. Great bread and butter too! Service was very nice and accommodating. The beach views are a nice added touch.
We all ordered dishes that had codfish included. I had the tacos, And my table mates had the fish and chips. Presentation is beautiful, I’d give that a five. Service is wonderful. I’d give that a 5+ but the fish was not good. I felt like I was biting into a mushy mashed potato taco. Although the fish and chips started out great halfway through they too experienced mushy fish. Must’ve been a bad fish day. Overall the view, the service and the ambience made up for the bad food but we probably wouldn’t go back or at least not order the codfish again.

We ordered the California rolls to share as a starter and they were delicious!!! So fresh and perfectly rolled with a good amount of salmon inside.
For main, we both ordered 1 lb of Spot Shrimp each, they were chargrilled with a delicious quinoa salad. We have never had such large shrimp. The vegetable sides were done beautifully too. - we got Brussel sprouts and the carrots. Oh and chips, yum. This was honestly the best meal we have ever had.
We adore the menu here. We were on holiday on our way back home with one night here in LA and we WISH there was a restaurant like this at home in London - what a gem it would be!
My only gripe was the waiter telling my mum how much she should tip. He did actually get our order wrong, we were given one plate of spot shrimp instead of two and so we had to wait for the 2nd to be ready. I know it's a different culture in the US but considering the size of our bill and the fact we are from the UK, the waiter could have had more tact. We were quite clearly given the cold shoulder after it was clear we hadn't tipped enough. In the UK 10% is a normal tip and 10% of this bill was LARGE. Clearly this restaurant need to pay their waiters more.

Lobster rolls are offered both hot and cold. It was a rainy Sunday so I opted for the toasted hot roll, and it did not disappoint! Great place with stylish decor, nice views, expansive bar and we had an attentive server.
Easy online reservation of table. Flexible staff, excellent service (quick and helpful). Outstanding food in a very appealing ambience. I have had the best shrimps ever!
We went to Water Grill yesterday in the afternoon. The floor staff Nicole was so friendly approaching us and introduced the menu to us with professionalism. She was so patient, cheerful and polite as well. The food was fresh and tasty. We had a great time there. Thank you Nicole and the chefs.

We celebrated Valentine's Day here. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated immediately. They were very accommodating. We enjoyed sitting outside while taking in the fresh air and enjoying the scenery. Our waiter was perfect and made excellent suggestions. They had a prix fixe 4-course menu: we had raw oysters, calamari, clam chowder, 1.5 lb lobster, Chilean Sea bass with butternut squash gnocchi, and rolls...we both had NY cheesecake with strawberry sauce. Almost forgot, as a Valentine's Day gift they gave us a wine stopper!! So sweet😊 We most definitely plan to visit again the next time we're in the area. Note: the restroom is shared amongst several other businesses inside an office building. There was a woman in the restroom offering lotion and other toiletry-type items. Unfortunately, I didn't have the cash to tip and I'm not sure if she's there all the time... just sharing in case you're reading and you're a "tipper" like me! 😊
We brought our daughter here for her 19th birthday! This place didn't disappoint! The lobster Mac and cheese was bomb! The Australian Lobster was to die for! The homemade rolls they brought to the table were so yummy! Filet mignon was amazing and perfectly cooked! The server we had was so attentive and just always available! She really went out of her way! The entire staff was so welcoming and very friendly! Loved it. We will be back!

My Family Reserved A Table For 5 And 1 Other Table For My Cousins. And Aunt And Uncle. Our Server Was Very Nice And Chill He Would Be Quick. And To Start Off I Got Water And Ordered The Lobster Roll It Was Delicious After The Delicious Meal I Decided To Get Ice Cream The Waiter Gave Suggestions The Best He Said Was The Peanut Butter Ice Cream It Was Fantastic! Really Enjoyed Water Grill.
This seafood restaurant was within a 15-minute walk from our hotel. We used Open Table to reserve a table for two. It was a packed house on a Thursday night. Even with a reservation, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Tho family-friendly, leave the kids home for a romantic dinner here. This is a good place to celebrate any special occasion. They serve a fresh complimentary dish of bread rolls. They have a full bar with plenty of adult beverage options. I was so relaxed after trying their cocktail named Ocean Avenue that I had to have a second one. It was delicious. I was very pleased with my Mahi Mahi. The texture and flavors were pleasant. The staff were friendly and attentive. The evening ambiance is warm and relaxing. The restaurant was clean and modern. I was so happily full that I did not have room for dessert. Reasonable prices for quality here. There's something on the menu here for any budget.
Loved the atmosphere here as well as the location with a view! We didn’t have a reservation but were able to get almost immediate seating at the communal tables near the bar.
I enjoyed the California Dungeness crab 2lbs definitely filled me up, the calamari was very tasty as well the Trojan roll ! My partner enjoyed the Shrimp scampi where they definitely didn’t hold back on how much shrimp they put, for sides we ordered the mashed potatoes & mac and cheese.
Actually really good fish. The sea bass was light, fluffy, and creamy like eating a cloud. The swordfish was thick and juicy without being dry or tough, like eating a fish-steak. The drinks and desserts were also solid. We had a great time here!
Fresh fresh fresh seafood, best in the west this side of California. The view of the famous Santa Monica beach complete with palm trees is perfect even in the spontaneous rainy weather. Valet parking up front ($15 with restaurant validation) was too easy.
The cocktails were good but just a little weak. We got the Ocean Avenue and Rosewood. The appetizers were the calamari and the muscles garbanzos, and they were delicious. The entrees were swordfish and the cioppino, and they were chef’s kiss incredible.
The price was surprisingly not as expensive as I expected, but it did nothing to diminish the quality of the food. I cannot forget to mention that staff and service were excellent. A big thank you to Jas, our server. It was a great birthday dinner. I am still very full the next morning.
