The food is so good. The Sunbathing Prawns are super spicy and is served cold. It is good spicy tho. The beef and half chicken are also good. It is pricey but I think it is worth visiting. We ordered for 2 and it is around $250-$300
Bright and playful flavors. Shrimp is perfectly cooked and has a crazy balance of umami, acid, and heat. Sauces that come with the crispified broccoli are so flavorful and fresh they jump off the plate. Laksa is simultaneously heavy and yet dances on the tongue. (Too much fish cake and needs some to
Great restaurant with creative and authentic dishes. I would not recommend the Laksha but all the other dishes are a flavour explosion!! Also, the sizes are huge!!
we struggled to get a table without reservation, but the outdoor seating looked so good that we kept circling back until we guilt-tripped our way to one! the food was good and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. the prawns and wontons were especially memorable
A great spot for a work dinner. Came here with a few coworkers and had a lovely time sitting out on the patio. Tons of food and a pretty decent seafood platter
Great service, outdoor area has blankets! Love the kaya toast, can eat a whole plate of those. The chickpea curry is also great.
Everything was pretty good except papaya salad and the noodles. I wish papaya salad was cut in smaller and had more flavors and ingredients, smaller portions. Taste wasn’t so good. Also I wanted noodle to be more harder. It was too soft. Their curry and pita bread was amazing, spicy wontons were goo
The Kaya Toast here was PHENOMENAL! A must try dish that is worth it. All the other dishes were very well prepared and delicious too. Some other highlights were the Dan Dan noodles and the chickpea dip. The service too was wonderful with our waitress and hostess being very accommodating to our needs
Wow. Order the Duck Dan dan noodles. Just do it. Vegetarian friendly - I came with a group of five, and everyone of us was vegetarian but me so I ordered the duck noodles for myself but other than that enjoyed a full dinner of Asian fusion vegetable dishes. Amazing cocktails, cute interior. We orde
One of my favorite restaurants in LA. I have tried the majority of the menu and everything has been full of flavor. Stand outs for me are the spicy wontons and, surprisingly, the chickpea dip. Lots of good seafood. Ambiance is cool and modern.
I think this is a wonderful restaurant, the food is very good and the service exceptional. It is pricey and sometimes the staff was too eager to clear plates, hovering over our table every couple of minutes or so. But for a memorable dining experience I really recommend this place!
Amazing SE Asian cuisine for the area! Drinks complemented our dishes and some of our favorite dishes were the beef Rendang, and Vietnamese Prawns! Probably the fanciest sweet potato dish I've ever had served, and it was unfortunate they were out of the Dan Dan noodles! Definitely have to come b
Try the Kaya toast! Everything here was delicious, but the toast was so unique and delicious. It was a little sweet so I saved most of it for the end of my meal. I'm glad we got two orders of it! The curry with Naan was very comforting. The Vietnamese coffee pudding was light and perfect to finish o
Yep yep yep, this is the place for my stomach and taste buds to live out their most delicious secret fantasies. We ordered the chickpea curry, the sunbathing prawns, the Dan Dan noodles, the beef rendang and the pork belly noodles. The chickpea curry was my favorite, and the Dan Dan noodles a very c
So good, can’t wait to go back and experience this again plus try different dishes. Definitely make a reservation. Parking - it’s LA so you’re either doing street parking or valet. I think it was $12 to valet. Service was good, food was quick, go with friends/family so you can try more things. The p
My husband and I had an early dinner here on a weekend. We had cold sesame noodles with crab, Vietnamese Caesar, and the whole sea bass with side of rice and Chinese broccoli. It was all very good! Really light and refreshing. Sometimes places make cold sesame noodles too sesame but this was really
While I admit a soft spot for Southeast Asian cuisine, this restaurant truly stands out. The dishes are electrifyingly flavorful, each bite sending sparks of delight. While exceptional service can be a rarity in LA, our waiter was both positive and helpful. It’s refreshing to be treated with respect
Loved the Dan Dan noodles, shredded salad and Kaya toast! Portion sizes were amazing - we went home with lots of leftovers. Cocktails are pricy but creative and interesting. Our group sat outside which was a bit chilly but they were still able to create a nice ambience and had lots of heat lamps.
