We love this place! Whenever we need our London fix we come here and eat the same food we would eat in a pub in London. It’s classic pub food, nothing spectacular nothing disappointing. Service staff are very friendly with good banter, atmosphere is very nice. It’s one of the places you can order a
Wow, it looks like a small restaurant, then you walk inside, and it is larger than you expect. The food looked great at other tables. The fish and chips were amazing, flakey, and the breading was crisp. The clam chowder was rich, creamy, and had chunks of clams! How I have missed this place for 3 ye
I really like the ambiance and the service! The parking might be tough.. let’s be real, it’s Santa Monica. The food is good, but you’re getting bar food.. nothing special. I ordered the king size fish and chips, which the server recommended I get both the beer-battered and the original. The fries “c
I've been to the Yee Olde Kings head a few times with a large group of friends, the service has always been really good and so is the food. The Caesar salad was amazing and so were these samosas. I would definitely recommend checking out the Ye Olde Kings head and I plan on coming back.
I had been wanting to come here for awhile and it surpassed my exceptions! The English Breakfast was amazing, my wife for the Shepherd’s Pie and I had to steal some of that off her plate. I will be back very soon! Also, the gift shop attached to the restaurant has soo many goodies make sure you brin
Very interesting and cute experience! Highly recommend to try it out at least once with friends. Great for catching up. The snacks were pretty tasty. Vegetarian options are included. The tea selection, while limited, is sure to satisfy most. The staff was courteous. The locale is also just a stone'
I happened to stop by when Manchester United was playing against Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. A lot of Brits yelling and screaming. I had an Irish beer (Guinness) and an English meal (Fish n Chips) and an absolutely great time!! Manchester United won 1 - 0. British people are a lot of fun!!
Honestly, this is the best service that I’ve ever received. Probably my entire life. The servers and the support staff are completely amazing and are there for everything. The food is amazing. Cooked very well and made to order. The atmosphere is great. It’s very comfortable very homey very clean, I
Great traditional English Pub here on the Westside overlooking Ocean Ave! A very authentic experience with a mostly British staff, Punçtual service and Hearty portions. Felt like I was transported straight back to London! They also have a gift shop next door with British souvenirs and a bakery.
Had tea at King's Head. Order the psychic tea! This psychic Annie was amazing. A 60th birthday party for me and some friends and it was perfect
It did have an impossible burger! I didn’t ask how it was cooked, meaning if it was prepared vegan, but whatever - it was good. Not my favorite fries, but good enough. The restaurant pleased the non-vegans a lot more than me. I ordered without mayo. Service was great and fast. I’m giving 4 instead o
If your from the UK and you miss home, you’ll find it here at Ye Olde King’s Head. I went with a friend to watch the England vs France game during the 2022 World Cup. While unfortunately England lost (thanks Harry Kane), it was a lively atmosphere that you won’t find anywhere else around this area.
Proper English breakfast in their pub area while we watched a couple of football matches while waiting out Hurricane Hillary. attentive server who made us an excellent Bloody Mary with beer chaser to pair with our breakfast.
Really enjoyed our meal and drinks at this cool British pub. The owners, servers, and bartenders were all very friendly. Service was extremely fast, and we all liked our food. The fish and chips were decent, the Sheppards pie was good, and the chicken tika massala well cooked. We'd definitely go bac
I enjoy this restaurant for a mid afternoon snack and break from busy Santa Monica. I enjoyed the broccoli soup and tea in front of the fireplace on this visit. My server was so friendly and the respite enjoyable. The establishment is showing its age a bit physically, but consider it part of the cha
This is our first time eating at an authentic British restauarant. I got the guiness steak. There was a hair or a plastic piece inside my gravy but the staff gave me a new side of gravy. They even took my plate off the menu as well as free dessert! Wow! Definitely recommend trying this restaurant. E
Great service in traditional British pub setting. Plenty of seating both indoor & outdoor. Good selection of food & also several beers on draft. Evening karaoke goers livened up an already fun pub atmosphere. Located in heart of downtown Santa Monica, nearby central shopping district.
