We loved the food so much, we had breakfast twice during our Christmas vacation. Matt the owner was a very gracious host. The banana pancakes are a must have. We’ll be back!

A few suggestions, depending on your mood.... 1. BACON PANCAKES! Yes, you heard that right. If you're feeling guilty share them, they are huge and very worth it. 2. House Smoked Salmon - My favorite is the Salmon BLT but it's fantastic on a salad or in a wrap. I promise you, it's the best. 3. Health nuts - Do the BodyWrap, I like mine with salsa on the side. PS If you see a smiling guy with shaved head behind the counter, that's the owner Matt, say Hi, he's super cool!

Wow the pancakes and eggs were fantastic!! We had the cinnamon raisin. Seriously the most delicious pancakes we've ever had-thick yet crispy and the flavor was amazing! Service was very prompt and friendly!

Come early for nice breakfast. One of my favorites on Main Street. My favorite is bacon-infused pancake with maple syrup. Today's was a little undercooked, as I usually preferred a more crisper crust. But still yummy. My wife had the Brian-wrap. It was savory and had a nice spicy bite. The service was good. The team keeps coming by with hot coffee.

We love eating breakfast / brunch at Shoop’s and eating outside on the “patio”. The scrambles are great. They are also known for their smoked salmon dishes.

Breakfast was great. Shoop’s has a great location, and an amazing helpful staff! There’s a vast menu, indoor and outdoor seating with great vibe. Highly recommend you putting this on your list while in the Venice/Santa Monica area. They have a lunch menu also, but I was there for breakfast. I had the bacon and cheese omelette. Should’ve went for the pancakes because I saw them come out for someone else and they looked great!

Their pancakes are so good!! The pastrami pancake was definitely better than the salmon one imo but we loved it so much we decided to get food Togo for our lunch before our flight home. Will definitely come back.

Amazing food! I got the Riley and my boyfriend got the Danny and they were both phenomenal. The pancakes were also amazing. The food was so filling there is no way we could finish all of ours. But sooo worth it regardless. And great service!

Great stuff! I had the pineapple pancakes and while everything we ordered was 🤤, we all find ourselves wanting for those. The gravlax is one of the best out there, but know that the sauce has a dominant dill flavor so you may want it on the side it dill isn't your thing. The service was a bit off (nice, but very slow) so be patient....the food will be worth the wait.

Amazing pancakes, and good for kids! We got the pineapple pancake, bacon pancake, and tomato/basil/egg/pesto savory pancake, all of which were outstanding— crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, served with maple syrup on the side. We sat outdoors in the shade and shook our heads at the Urth Cafe line across the street 🤷🏻‍♀️. They brought out a high chair for our toddler, which was very much appreciated. The bathroom was pretty clean and family-friendly, large enough for adults to be inside to help the kids. We parked in the lot behind the store for $1.25/hr and entered through the back door. Overall, I highly recommend this place for breakfast!

Local deli & store tucked away on Main Street. Came here on a Saturday morning around 10:30am for brunch. We got seated right away but note that this is a pretty popular spot. Indoor and outdoor dining available. Credit cards accepted. There is a gender neutral restroom on the market side behind the counter. Street parking or you can park in a paid public lot. The food came out quickly and the waitresses were friendly. The gravlax came with a fresh dill sauce and a generous amount of lox. They have Zab’s hot sauce, which wasn’t spicy but added a nice layering element. The salmon pancake was very fluffy and very filling.

This place is absolutely awesome. My wife and I stayed down the street and came here for breakfast everyday, and the food seemed better each time. The jalapeño bacon cheddar pancakes are out of this world. One of my favorite breakfasts I can remember, I got the same thing three times in a row. I’ve never had savory pancakes before, and the combination works great. The ingredients tasted super fresh too. My wife got the pineapple pancakes and the bacon pancakes which were also both exquisite. The inside market is fun as well. If you are in Santa Monica and want a good breakfast this place is a must.

The omellette was totally deliciousss. However, it comes with egg whites, I asked them to do full eggs for me. It was exhiliratingly good. They have great cooks here, and I do love the fact that the place is small, but spacious enough where you don’t feel restricted. It is right on the corner, on Main St, so the view is great. It’s a bit elevated from the street, so you look at everything from a higher point, great spot to eat if you love watching people and the world go by. On the other side from the tables, there is a small store with a lot of European treasures, I bought a huge Milka bar, and found a lot of European brands I love and have not been able to find as easily in the USA. It’s a great food and treasure hunting spot, and the people are very friendly, I loved loved loved it. 💯❤️👌✨🤪✨👀

We ordered Swiss pastrami pancake and salmon caesar wrap, and they were both great! The pancake came out with grilled onion, cheese, over easy fried eggs, and maple syrup, which were great matches for the pastrami pancake. The smoked salmon in the wrap was amazing. I liked how they paired the salmon with caesar salad. The portion was large, so two plates are enogh to serve 3 people. Although we arrived at around 12:30pm and waited about 20-30 mins, delicious food and super friendly staffs made us have a wonderful lunch. They have large outdoor seatings.

Amazing pancakes! This place is across the street from one of my favorite breakfast places. But since I had their pancakes with bacon, i prefer to go to Shoop's instead. They have Very good delicious coffee from a US roaster. I tried their weisswurst with kraut and potatoes the last time I visited, and it was great.

Terrific food. I had the savory smoked salmon pancake and it was spectacular. My girlfriend had the smoked salmon baguette and added capers. She couldn't have been happier. It's a great little spot in an awesome little neighborhood. It was the perfect breakfast.

Been going to Shoop’s for a long time now and it never disappoints! Everything from their lunch (definitely try the Shoop’s Club) to the breakfast is fresh and delicious, the staff are also super friendly and accommodating. And it’s one of the closest things you’ll find to an East Coast style deli out in LA…

I actually walk passed Shoop's but I remember peering in and thinking, "wow, this place is so busy for a Wednesday morning!". I actually had intended on going in, after seeing all the great reviews. I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the Lola and it was HUGE. Great value for $10 before tax/tip. The fruit cup was a nice surprise. Despite it being so busy for a Wednesday morning, waiter was great and, the lady ay the counter was lovely.
