Fresh hamburgers, great service, and a 50s theme atmosphere. Wouldn't call it a fast food restaurant, considering there's a waiter and a longer than anticipated wait time. Price is higher than expected, but then again it's 3rd Street. Still, great place to get a burger once in awhile.

Like most major chains the food quality is not as good, but everything was cooked to order and served hot. The service is spot on.
Oh yes!!! Finally a homemade tasty burger. The burger was cooked to perfection. The chili cheese fries were flavored like the chili had been slow cooked all day. Employees were so kind despite being extremely busy.
Went here with my family and it was busy right up until 3pm. We had a double pram and it was tight and not heaps of room to park inside.
We were seated promptly and asked if we wanted to swap when a booth became free, but we managed fine on the stools.

I drove from Santa Clarita to Santa Monica for Johnny Rockets that alone should say a lot. Any as you can see from previous reviews I always always take photos of my food but we inhaled those burgers so fast I didn't get a chance to snap a picture. It was amazing and very nostalgic.
Food was great and satisfied my burger craving! Servers were quick and after getting our food, we were able to take our time to eat and enjoy the surround ambiance. The live singing just outside the venue was a plus.

Delicious food and entertaining staff that draw cute pictures out of ketchup as we receive our food is a cute touch to the service. Staff are really nice and have excellent customer service skills.
AMAZING burger. I got Rocket burger with fries. The patty was so juicy. Fries was cooked perfectly. Erik was AMAZING as well. Perfect experience
