Lovely place for a date or alone. Came on a Monday for their incredible 50% off most food special. Just 2 entrees and we couldn't finish the pizza. Very fresh and tasty. The olive tapenade for the bread is really good. Nice service even though it's busy. I'll be back.
Friendly staff, brought the food quickly, it was piping hot, gooey, and very good.
The lasagna was better than the lobster ravioli.
They sat us quickly without a reservation on a Sunday at 6pm.

I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. If I could score 4.5 I would but I have been to some really excellent Italian restaurants on my travels and this is not quite up with them. The value was excellent, two main meals, 3 glasses of good wine and 2 coffees, just over $100. They also did NOT automatically put service charge on, which is really good as I was happy to give them a good tip .
If I'm back this way, I'll go back no problem.
Spumoni is as solid as it gets. Great location with plenty of parking and seating, warm atmosphere, super cool staff, and the best Italian food around. I love their pizza and pasta dishes, I crave it even! It's that good there. The waiters treat you like family, and it's a cozy place to be. Beer and fine wine, salads and dessert. Everything is good here. Owner Nando does a fine job. A +)

One of the best Italian restaurants on Montana, look at this huge plate of fried calamari for only $14 - very fresh, very tasteful, you can feel the actual taste of calamari ! Also the chicken pizza - soo delicious, the whole dough is so fresh and the chicken is literally melting, not like other places - dry chicken breast. The service is also amazing, they work so hard and they take care of you very well ! Thank you for everything
Today was my first time going to Spumoni, I went with my friends for their birthday, and the food was good, the staff was very friendly, I ordered the lasagna, and it was good, the only thing was the beef lacked seasoning, overall it was still good.
Gnocchi are amazing! Came for a great 50% off on Monday night. It has a great vibe and nice Italian staff. This is authentic Italian although a little pricey but normal for the area. Good for families or with friends. You must try the home made gnocchi with a giant portion! The anti pasta platter and cannolis are worth it, too. Will be back for sure!
I've been going to this rest. for 30 years. The food is delicious 😋, depending on your taste preferences. If you like a thick chicken breast, the parm. Chix is your best bet. The Lobster ravioli rocks but it's a small portion so order 2 if your with another person. Their homemade Marina sauce, also delicious as is their Cesear salad dressing (we dip the fresh bread in the dressing). Like w/everything/everywhere, prices have gone up but this restaurant is worth it. 💖

This photo really does not do this meal justice. The gnocchi funghi was delicious. When we are in the area (almost every week) we try to stop by and have a meal! Wait staff is great, meals are delicious, seems like there are a lot of long time customers in the restaurant whenever we are there. Great location as well. Delicious desserts!

This place is absolutely Fantastic. Have come here for years and years and years, service is outstanding and the food is consistently good. Fantastic option on Montana, great value and the food is always fresh. Sincerely appreciate the staff, the work so hard and are so attentive.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Spumoni, an Italian restaurant in Santa Monica and I must say that it was quite a pleasant experience. I usually order from them and I would definitely give this restaurant a solid four-star rating. One of the highlights of the meal was the fresh pasta which was cooked to perfection. In particular, I highly recommend the pasta alla puttanesca which was full of flavor and had just the right amount of spiciness.
The portions served were very generous, which is perfect for those with a big appetite or for those who like to share. The outdoor patio on Montana avenue is also worth mentioning. The wine list at this restaurant is short but decent, with prices that won't break the bank. The ratio of price to quality is indeed pretty good.
Ok, but why only four stars then? will you ask me… The only downside might be the short wine list, but most importantly the indoor space, not really a charming place.
Overall, I highly recommend Spumoni if you're craving Italian food in Santa Monica. The fresh pasta, generous portions, and lovely outdoor patio make it a great spot for a casual dinner with friends and family.

I had the most amazing Pesto Pasta with chicken. Was a perfect ballance of cream and salt with a hint of garlic. Perf!
