Holy Cow Bbq - Santa Monica - Photo album

I've been out of the States for a while and needed some BBQ on my trip back to LA. A friend recommended this place and I was not disappointed. A delicious BBQ set, garlic roll and slaw. Ask for their in-house ghost pepper BBQ sauce. ๐Ÿ˜‹
Yummy, high-quality BBQ with great service . We ordered the sampler (1lb of meat) which came with two sides (we chose cole slaw and beans), and garlic knots. My son had the chicken nuggets. We also had the Mexican street corn and the banana pie and key lime pie. Everything was wonderful.
Visited Holy Cow in Santa Monica recently as I was craving BBQ. The atmosphere/space was super cute and upscale and easy to access. I ordered several things. First the not so great. I ordered the BBQ chicken jerky - visually looked amazing. But I think the kitchen staff must have heated/reheate
Holy Cow BBQ is a fantastic restaurant with a great variety of burgers, salads, and BBQ dishes. The menu offers something for everyone, whether you're a meat lover or prefer vegetarian options. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, while the salads are fresh and vibrant. The BBQ items are cooked to p
(8/7/2023, 2:30pm around there can't remember) It was almost empty during this time, I ordered The Hog, and some Nugs along with loaded taters, potato salad, and lemonade Greatly made, and fresh. Savory and delicious. Really no complaints whatsoever, the cashier/server was attentive and helpful all
I'm from Texas and real BBQ is difficult to find on the West Coast. Well, this place is real BBQ. The brisket is tastey and tender and worth the visit all by itself. Also had the chicken, the Texas toast and the potato salad. All were good. Had to try the onion rings and I would order them again too
I love holy cow. Unassuming atmosphere (but neat and inviting), fresh food with great service. Definitely a great local option for bbq meats.
Holy Cow what a great surprise. We were in the area and got there right when they opened. The tri-tip sandwich is outstanding(hint) add the bbq mustard for an awesome kick. The pulled pork is outstanding. Well done Holy Cow BBQ! Cream corn and corn bread....speaks for its self. ๐Ÿ‘Œ
Our first time there was with extended family. We had ribs, chicken, greens, fried pickles, rolls, onion straws, and mac-n-cheese. It was very good!
Good prices, nice dining room. Very like good Southern BBQ
The ribs were really good but the real surprise was the delicious cole slaw, honestly the best I had in the entire US. The staff was super friendly and the service quick. Another highlight are the restrooms which are clean and freshly renovated. If I was not leaving LA soon I would definitely come b
Great small intimate setting restaurant with great Bar B Que food. Service was great and food was delightful with flavor. The restaurant was a recommadation and they didn't disappoint. Stop by and give them a try. Thanks for the experience.
As a New Yorker who recently made the move to LA I was impressed by this little BBQ joint. The food selection was very good, the style and graphics of the interior have a polished feel. The food was delicious, I had the brisket and tri tip. The brisket was more fatty but thatโ€™s the way I like it,
We had the baby back ribs. They were the best we have had period. Don't hesitate to go to Holy Cow . Also the beans, corn, coleslaw and sweet potato was also the bomb. Thanks guys. You Yum !!!!!!
Fantastic. Got tritip brisket ribs fries and mac n cheese for $30. Totally worth it. Fed two. Friendly attentive staff. My new favorite bbq.
Great place to eat. Wonderful location. Excellent service Delicious food. Made me feel like I was back home in Nashville with the Country-Weatern theme and music. Can't wait to return again for some more BBQ!
