Been coming here for years... hands down the best wing in LA........period. Our got to wings are the Sriracha Ginger and the pineapple habanero wings. Always perfect and always delicious 🤤
If your in the mood for a burger, have the LA burger 🍔 it’s an honest great tribute to the in and out burger. Wash it all down with a draft beer from a well thought out and curated craft beer list too. 26 taps to choose from so there is always something for everyone! 🍻

Great place. Just come here and you’ll see why.
Relaxing laidback and easy going. Great beer list and tasty pub food.
The chicken taco is simple but so so satisfying.
The wings are huge and 12 will fill any belly.
Good music too and not crowded.
Come check it out.

Dive-y gastropub with happy hour specials on weekdays, including all day Wing Wednesdays. West 4th has a special place in my heart only because I really like gnawing on these wings. The buffalo is solid, but the mango habanero is the best one in my opinion (assuming you do like spicy food). Otherwise, the BBQ is sweet and the crispness of the skin contrasts very nicely against the tenderness of the meat. I do also like the spinach artichoke dip quite a bit, and the tortilla chips are housemade, so they’re quite fresh. The pretzel is only worth it during happy hour and the sausage plate isn’t as large as you’d think, so order a couple plates if you’re getting it. There’s a lot of beer options and some wine options as well. The bartenders are super knowledgeable about the beers and can make good recommendations.
There’s a second story level that would be more ideal for a bigger group to congregate, and there’s some games there too. Otherwise there’s booths and high tables, and the servers roam around to help out. You could also sit at the bar and just chill while watching a sports game on the multiple TVs. Bathrooms are in the second level and it’s a single room. No free WiFi and street parking is hard, so I suggest parking in a city lot for the first 90 min for free. It’s a quick walk from the metro as it’s only like a block away from the Downtown Santa Monica station. Overall it’s a laid back spot to eat some good food and have a vast array of beer options.

Not a bad joint at all. Went in while waiting for bikes - I didn't realize tater tots could be that good! Huge beer menu, friendly waitress and staff. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Great range of craft beers and the yummiest berry beer. Nice atmosphere for a quiet afternoon drink

Loved it. Wish I had one back home on the Sunshine Coast. Great cold beers, good food and friendly atmosphere. Staff know their beers.

A perfect bar as a local, or an out of town visitor. One of the best beer selections in LA, and the staff is kind and attentive. Better than average pub food, and close proximity to all things hip in Santa Monica. A great mug club for locals, and fun and relaxing decor. Great for sports, and private event booking.

Good, but I have a few suggestions.
First, Delirium Tremens should be a staple. Never remove this from your menu. I mean, I can get it in a bottle at the store, so how the hell are you running out of it?
Second, always rest your burgers for 3-5 minutes after cooking them. They're good burgers, but the pool of juice that drains onto my plate means that once I pick them up, I cannot set it down again else risking turning my burger into soup, also it's dryer this way. If you let the burger rest it will re-absorb all that moisture and remain a juicy burger.
Lastly, my burger said it had cheese on it, but I barely noticed. I mean, technically, I'm sure it did, but it didn't taste like it had cheese on it. Please correct this oversight.
Otherwise, this is one of the best places to eat and get a good beer that's not completely a tourist trap on the Promenade.

This has been my favorite burger since moving to LA. Still not used to spending >$15 on a decent one though. Good selection of beer on tap and great service. Plan to give other burger joints a chance before returning.

Visiting town, I sought craft beer. Their selection on tap wasn't amazing, but the beers they had were top-notch. I especially appreciated the regional beers they had, which were different than the selection at home.
.
There were two surprises: the wings were phenomenal and they were fond of hockey. This was a different and better crowd than I'd found elsewhere in the LA region. The Sriracha wings were really delicious: plump and spicy. They were as good as the patrons.
.
I had a super enjoyable evening drinking excellent craft beer, eating the best wings I've had in a while, and watching hockey with others who enjoy the sport.

Great staff, they paid excellent attention to us throughout our stay. The beer list is great, and the staff recommendations were solid. The fish and chips were solid, especially because they gave me the option to swap out for tots. Other folks with us got the burger, which was nice and juicy, and the wings, which I didn't try, but looked great. Bonus points for location, right next to live music spot Harvelle's.

I liked this bar. Great craft beer selections. I had the sour on draft. The prices aren't bad for craft beer in L.A. we came on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty packed but service was fast and our drinks were always filled. I suggest this bar to any beer lover. You will not be dissapointed!

I come here again and again, and I just love it. I had a birthday party in the upper area where there are nice comfy couches and chairs and the waitress was an absolute pro in helping all of my friends have a great time. Good beer selection, and my favorite food is the spinach dip with chips. Burgers are amazing as well. I like the vibe, reminds me of NYC when I lived there. People are nice, it's never incredibly busy (unless the Mets are playing!)
Bart Bidlingmeyer
Great staff and great bar food. The beer selection is really extensive-- lots of local California options. It's the perfect blend of unpretentious, authentic bar atmosphere with well priced food and drink. Hard to find in LA, harder still in Santa Monica.

The Tuesday wings are great but often take a while. Budget extra time if you're going for lunch.
Beer selection is good and I love a place that does pitchers.
Joe Brandt
Perfect spot to watch a game if you're a Mets fan. Great food and service too.

I order a burger and fries .. 19 dollars later. THe fries tasted like they were warmed up . I simply walked back to ask for new fries and the bartender decided not only did he want to try a French frie ; but let me he didn't think anything was wrong with them . So I asked him to just give me my money back period . And again the bartender decided to question why must react this way towards him . I paid you cash money for my food and yet you have the balls to question me .. About my liking ?! Sir . Terrible service and he threw my money back at me . I mean literally toss it at me . f u c k this place

We are visiting from Colorado and my sister-in-law said that I should go here. My lovely wife went shopping while I relished in a delicious taster flight. Lee was a marvelous host who answered all of my questions and freely shared her thoughtful observations. Later, when I wanted a particular Imperial Stout which was sold out, she gleefully dove into the refrigerator and came back with 3 worthy substitutes. The beer list is not massive, but is constructed with loving care. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here.

What a fun place to watch sports, and the ribs are amazing!

Great craft beer and fantastic food. Try the Lamb Burger and Tater Tots.
Amber Howland
We loved the atmosphere and drinks BUT if you go for happy hour...make sure you tell them you want the happy hour wine or else they will charge you!!! You would think for a Cheers feeling type bar, they would promote their own specials to have you coming back but instead they blind sided us with a $70 bill. Not cool. Beware.
