We went to this place for a team dinner & it did not disappoint. Food tasted great and was presented well. Service was great, with ambient music. Desserts were good too. Only negative was that they didn’t have non alcoholic drinks on the menu.
Excellent, romantic Italian restaurant in downtown Santa Monica. Delicious, fresh and creative dishes. Top notch, professional and friendly service from our waiter Luca who is from Roma. Highly recommended.
One of the reasons why I don’t like LA…we attempted to walk into two places that were 90% empty, the first one didn’t wanna take us, the second one gave us a table straight in the sun with zero shade, and when we requested one of the other 30 tables that were available, they said they were reserved until we left. Ended up finding this place available on OpenTable and we are so happy that we did. The food is delicious and the service is even better. Highly recommend this restaurant!! The pasta with truffle was delicious, as was the pink sauce. Everything we ordered was very good and the staff and owner are super friendly.
What to say about this place? Super nice Italian restaurant (crazy that they gave an amazing Crème brûlée). Music was accurate, service excellent (it was the first day of my server), food super tasty and nice presented. Price wise I don’t think is too expensive for Santa Monica but is not cheap for sure. Great place for celebrate anniversary, birthday or have a date.
One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in LA area. The food and wine were amazing while not overpriced. Also have never had better service, the staff went above and beyond and were so friendly.
Food and service were excellent. Beautiful space. Highlights were the veal Milanese, spaghetti carbonara and mushroom cake on fondue.
We had a wonderful lunch today that took us back to Tuscany. Taglia board was very nicely presented and our server Simone was fantastic. We chatted a bit which transported us back to Italy. We loved ending the meal with the Blood Orange and mint Sorbet and a Americano coffee. Very enjoyable afternoon!
I want to write a sincere apology to this wonderful establishment.
I was in a rush for a conference I was in town for, and ordered the check soon after my entree. My waiter, Simone recoiled because i believed he interpreted it as me having a bad experience. I didn't have much time and I was looking for the nicest place to leave a good impression. This place Absolutley lived up to expectations!!!!!
A lot of people overuse "authentic Italian". As an Italian citizen, I can tell you this is the only time I've found that to be true.
My waiter was Italian, the ambiance was Italian, the food.... remarkable..
People complain about the price, a plane ticket to Italy for the same meal is much more expensive.
Probably the best pasta I have recently had. And the atmosphere is so good. Staff friendly. Highly recommended.
Went for a Friday lunch. Melodious and soothing music, beautiful space, and warm service. The olive bread already showed the quality of the food. The veggies were so fresh and the meatballs were tastier than most of the others we had tried. You shouldn't missed the black truffle cavatelli - not only for the sake of the truffles (though that's enough) but also for the sausages! We also loved the cannolo - ultra-crispy shell with mouth-watering ricotto. Thank you, chef.
