We had a nice time here. First time we were here we sat in their magical patio but last night the patio was closed for an event so we sat inside. Inside is a little noisy and crammed but cozy at the same time. We were there with friends so we were able to taste lots of different dishes. My 6 year old loved their sausages and pierogis. My husband loved their Schnitzel and They are very accommodating for diet restrictions, there is food for everyone here. They have a dog menu for your pup to have dining experience with you. Service is friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Had a great experience here. Sat in the patio area. Spacious and beautiful. Roomy. Got a mojito and beef. The sample platter. And some pierogi orders. The chicken. Traditional. And beef. Good food. Wish they had pierogis with cheese, Potato and jalapeño! That would’ve been amazing. But nice to see an authentic polish place in socal. Really enjoyed

Awesome spot for Polish (and neighboring countries) food. Great happy hour and super inviting back patio.
Food was very good. We did both samplers and entrees. The table had a good spread and everything was enjoyed. Schnitzel was great.

First time eating Polish food outside of Poland and was pretty good. Sauerkraut salad and split pea soup were great. Pierogi are a must of course. Not a fan of borsch or herring as was expecting something more Russian style. Polish cheesecake was definitely not your American variety. Service was friendly and efficient. The bill was high as always at those types of places as we end up wanting to try everything. Nice place to try a different cuisine.

Solidarity is a great Polish restaurant. We had the Pierogi Sampler to start and Beef & Cabbage for my main dish, followed by a crepe with strawberries and Creme. Everything was excellent!! The food was cooked well and very flavorful but not heavy. The portions were generous. The service was fast. They have 2 outdoor covered patios. Good atmosphere. Great date night place with a good Happy Hour. Family friendly place. Street parking only.

Always a good choice. There are only two Polish food restaurants in all of the greater Los Angeles area. The food here is consistently good if not slightly expensive. Understandable that they must charge what they do being in such a great location. The steak tartare is a standout. The pierogi are an interesting take on a Polish standard. The bar is also a great place to meet people.

Wonderful experience. 4 different dishes and none disappointed. Great alcohol suggestion (dark beer and hot toddy) We laughed a lot at the servers comment of Shirley Temple vs Judy Garland (whether the other customer one of us was considering flirting with swung for which team). Lovely evening. Thank you

Went for my birthday and had a really nice time. The food was fantastic, at least as good as anything I had in Poland! I was really excited about the chance to introduce my family to Polish culture as I have recently discovered our deeply Polish heritage which we hardly even knew we had!
However, for some reason our first course didn’t arrive for almost a full hour after we ordered. It was as if our party of six was forgotten immediately after the drinks arrived. As far as I was concerned the great atmosphere and friendly staff made up for it, though it was weird that it took so incredibly long to get our food, and some of my party were getting upset.
While we were finishing up the meal I could see a birthday party at the next table and the staff were singing the Polish happy birthday song to them! I was excited to experience that with my family. Our waiter came back and offered me a birthday dessert, but there was no singing or anything when he brought it, which felt a little disappointing, although the dessert was delicious. They definitely knew we were there for my birthday so it was odd that the next table seemed to be getting some extra kind of service.
I would go back in a heartbeat however. I give them the benefit of the doubt and can only suppose they had some sort of confusion among the staff but I look forward to visiting again as the food and vibe were fantastic. It’s a gem of authentic Polish food and culture in LA.

We recently dined at Solidarity in Santa Monica, and it was truly a charming experience from start to finish.
The food at Solidarity was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish we tried was a delightful blend of classic flavors with top-notch ingredients, resulting in a truly delicious meal that hit all the right spots. It's evident that the chefs here take great pride in their craft.
The ambiance at Solidarity is equally impressive. The patio area, in particular, provides a lovely setting where you can unwind and enjoy your meal while soaking in the delightful atmosphere. I could have happily spent hours on that patio, savoring both the food and the surroundings.
If you find yourself in Santa Monica, Solidarity is a must-visit dining destination.

Good food! A little on the pricey side, but great Polish food regardless. There is no parking lot in the back anymore. Gotta find street parking or if you show up after the shops next door close then you can park in the neighboring lot but you need to make sure the shop is closed, otherwise you can get ticketed (or maybe even towed).

Very genuine staff and authentic dishes. You definitely want to make reservations because they fill up quickly. I describe this as a casual place and perfect for families or dates. The Polish beers they serve are excellent.

There are so many dishes that I love at this restaurant.
I get the potato pirogi (an obvious choice), pickle soup, mushroom crepes. My family loves the duck. Friends rave about the kielbasa.
The atmosphere is great and interesting. I go often and always have a different experience. It feels like being at a friend’s home. You can choose indoors for a warm cottage vibe, the patio which feels like a bar, or the outdoor area with firepits.

Delicious pierogies. Potato and mushroom are my favorite. Mixed drinks are also very good and enjoyable. If you sit in the patio the menu is limited, but the atmosphere is very relaxed, comfortable and welcoming. The food is great to enjoy and have a pleasant conversation. I went on a Wednesday evening; there were people but was not crowded.

Certainly did not expect to say this.... but I had the greatest steak of my life at this very restaurant. A filet mignon. It blew away all the Wagyu cuts I have previously had.
All of our side dishes were absolutely flawless as well. The employees were as friendly and helpful as they get.
Solidarity ended up being our favorite restaurant we visited on our trip up the entire West coast.

The food was great! The portions were really small. Bread was not complimentary which was a letdown taking into consideration that almost every restaurant offers good quality complimentary bread. The waitress was pretty rude.

I've all over Poland, one of the best places I ate was a hole in the in Krakow where I ordered pierogies. When I bit into the pierogi at Solidarity I was transported back to that amazing hole in the wall in Krakow.
I love this place, the atmosphere, the people are very friendly and I have checked out a few polish restaurants in the L.A area and if you want the best show some Solidarity!! L.A's best!!

Fun Polish place in the heart of Santa Monica. TBH, I liked it more when it was Warsawa with the kitschy fun lounge bar in the back yard, separate from the formal, more traditional Polish dining in the house up front. But it’s still fun, with pretty good food.

Enjoyed a reunion dinner with a former colleague and dear friend. The patio dining experience became enhanced with idiosyncratic touches of comfort including dining upon a fire pit, next to an old tree, and in front of a large movie screen creating an outdoor dining experience. We arrived earlier than our reservation, and they accommodated us. When anything was not to our satisfaction, they corrected it to our satisfaction.
PROS:
Very unique ambiance, wonderful team providing table service including server, host, busser, and manager. Their solidarity to ensure a comfortable, delicious, and satisfying experience synergized. The pierogi sampler was a highlight, as were the brussel sprouts.
CONS:
One of details that did not become corrected was the lukewarm temperature of my friend's sheep filled pasta. It was our fault for not bringing it their attention. Nonetheless, it should not have been served this way in the first place.

Polish restaurant with outdoor patio in Santa Monica that has happy hour specials. Came here for happy hour with coworkers on a Tuesday evening (goes from 4-7pm) and sat outside in the patio. There is free parking available in a small lot, but it’s behind the restaurant - don’t park in the lot next door because that’s for the other establishments and you could get towed. Follow the signs to go to the back patio. There wasn’t table service for us but you can order drinks and food at the bar. There is a water station available. The pierogis were good as expected, but I enjoyed the kielbasa more. The kielbasa comes with grilled onions and a side of mustard, and had a good flavor. Some of the pierogis were covered in a white sauce that was creamy but a tad too salty for my taste. There are bathrooms available (single rooms) and they do take credit card. It’s also a restaurant so you can sit inside and enjoy a full dinner if you want an actual meal. Overall it’s a relaxed spot to grab grub and drinks with a large group out on the patio.
