An absolute must stop if you're visiting Santa Monica. I'm here for work from Seattle and was recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Not very big but didn't need to be. It smelled amazing the second I walked in. The Carbonara was the creamiest and most amazing I've had, and served to me directly to plate from pan and in quick order. Staff is pleasant as well. Maybe it's a good thing I don't live here because I would gain a ton of weight!

We got the tasting menu - the classic & cheese and truffle - as well as a few bottles of red wine to complement. Delicious food and lovely service. The highlight was probably the Pomodoro. The tiramisu and battuta di Carne were a bit disappointing though.

Go to colapasta instead on 5th St which got a Michelin bib in 2022, for half the price and better pasta.
The ragu had no bite at all and was sitting in too much pasta water. The brodo themselves were nice but the broth tasted like watered down matzo ball soup. The lasagna was mushy and lacked flavor, the most of any lasagna I've ever ordered. The cacio e pepe may be how they do it in Rome, but it's over seasoned, overcooked, and oversalted to our party.
The 'tiramisu' is a JOKE and is 85% cream topped with what is basically Hershey's Nutella with half an ounce of coffee and some crumbs from a leftover box of ladyfingers. On top of lackluster service on a weekday night and a fixed 16% tip, I won't come here again.
I like Sugarfish and it's price to quality and expected far better. 1/5 stars.

Definitely not worth it, I was super excited about Italian food and trying out a new restaurant… take out order was the only option if I didn’t want to wait 45 min for dine in.. aside from having to pay 16% for the “Tip” when I got back to my hotel I noticed my food came with no bread nor sauces just plain lasagna. Didn’t even look appetizing..

One of my favorite pasta spots. Simple yet delicious. I’ve been here a couple times now and it does not disappoint. The pasta is truly wonderful. Even the yellowtail was absolutely stunning and tasted even better. Portions are not the biggest, but they definitely fill you up. And don’t be discouraged by the line of people waiting, it went by fairly quickly. There will be a QR code for you to scan to put your name down on a virtual queue

Loved the tasting menu! Delicious meal and excellent service all around. Our server, Alexis, was knowledgeable about every menu item and wonderfully friendly. A perfect dinner.

Fantastic marina views. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the staff is super nice and attentive. We tried 5 different dishes, 4 of them need 50% less salt! Someone please tell the chef. We'll come back for the the tiramisu/views.

Love the fresh pasta (Truffle cream and Ragu) . It’s a shame the truffle pasta doesn’t have fresh truffle at all but it was full of truffle
flavour. The pasta get finished so quickly, with in 10mins 😅
