Great Southern Cafe - Santa Rosa Beach - Photo album

While visiting some friends we decided to try out this restaurant. It seems to be a popular place to eat as there is always a line waiting to be seated. Once seated we were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our order. When the food came out everything was perfect. The food was delicious and ev
Great Southern Cafe was a great place for lunch, but we had some issues while we were there. One of our friends never got her food, so after waiting for what felt like forever, she just told them to cancel her order. As for my meal, I had a bowl of Gumbo and the Seafood Tower. I would highly recomme
Perfect location with a menu for just about anybody. Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Drinks were amazing and the atmosphere couldn’t have been better. Right in the middle of seaside with plenty of outdoor space, bars to enjoy the games and seating for families.
Excellent food and wonderful attentive service. The Calamari appetizer was good. The Seafood Gumbo is good, the Shrimp n Grits were well liked, and the Black n Blue salad was excellent.
We have visited here three times, and each time has been a great experience. This last time we were served by a waiter named Chase who absolutely made our experience even better than the others. He was knowledgeable about the menu and he was so good with our toddler. He made the night stress free an
Amazing food and service. Shannon was our server and she was absolutely the best. Food was hot, delicious and amazing. Shrimp Ay ya ya, the Carson chicken sandwich & salmon. Love, love, ❤️
Tara was amazing with a friendly attitude and anticipated our needs. The food was perfectly prepared and in the right portions to provide value without overeating. The smoked Gouda grits are mandatory. The hush puppies are uniquely done and delicious.
Awesome seaside restaurant with great food! Tara was very helpful navigating the menu for us first timers. The hush puppies are the best I ever had.
A perfect place to eat after doing a little shopping in Seaside! The pineapple mojito might just be my new favorite drink. The food was all so fresh and delicious! Our waitress was professional and on top of it, too!! We were staying in Miramar Beach, but our friends highly recommended The Great Sou
Chad was an awesome waiter. The dinner was amazing. The best smoked Gouda grits on the planet.
A great place to eat if you’re ever in this part of town! My husband and I visited a few weeks ago and came for a late lunch/early dinner, so it was pretty slow. We sat outside and admired the view of the square. Our server was nice and friendly, offered alternatives for my picky eating. I got a Cae
Popular spot, definitely worth getting there early in the morning on the weekends. Outside seating is a bit nicer and more lively. The grits a ya ya is a great take on shrimp and grits, avocado toast was good - I wish they used a bread like grilled sourdough and I think then one slice would be plent
We enjoyed our experience here! Delicious virgin drinks. The grits a ya ya dish was the best! The mushroom creamy gravy was so good. Easily shareable if you plan on ordering appetizers and dessert. The service was quick and our waters were filled frequently. The key lime pie was good with a meringue
Amazing! We had a wonderful meal, highly recommend the fried shrimp and grits meal and you MUST try the hot sauce!
Amazing experience! Amazing Atmosphere! I couldn’t quite taking pictures of everybody’s plate! The presentation was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We had a group of 12 and made reservations, but still had to wait about 15 min. , but it was totally okay. It was a packed house so I recommend getting there early or make
Food was excellent. Sat outside and the weather was perfect. Waitress could have been a little more friendlier and attentive, but, oh well.
Service was eh. But trust me the grits a ya ya were fantastic. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and their grits are amazing. The Benedict wasn't bad but no hollandaise sauce really makes it not a Benedict to me. The frose and dreamicle at bff is AMAZING too
**A Culinary Symphony in Seaside!** Hey there, foodie friends! Just had the pleasure of diving into a plate of Grits À Ya Ya and the Catch of the Day at Great Southern Cafe in Seaside, FL. First off, the Grits À Ya Ya were a flavor explosion! Creamy grits, spicy andouille sausage, plump shrimp – i
Great place for outdoor seating and delicious food! The Carson Chicken sandwich was incredible! The sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. Lots of wine and beer choices and a cute bar.
