They nailed it with the renovation!! Very well manicured and challenging. Maintenance staff and Golf staff were wonderful and very welcoming. Highly recommend taking the opportunity to play. Played in under 4hrs. Will be back.

I really enjoyed playing the Santa Rosa course. Played from the blue tees, and thought it was challenging, but with scoring opportunities available. If you are hitting your driver straight, you will have a lot of mid to short irons into the receptive greens. There is just enough water to keep you aware of where you should leave your misses. The greens seemed a little sandy, but rolled perfectly, and stayed on line. The club house and practice facilities were top notch. Only to be matched by the courteous and friendly staff. Can't wait to play there again.

Santa Rosa s a quiet, gorgeous alternative to the busier beaches along 30A.
Offering trees draped in Spanish moss, gorgeous native plants, groomed fields and classic Southern vibes - it is an excellent choice for anyone looks for some rejuvenation and relaxation.
Absolutely spectacular views and atmosphere.
If you're visiting 30A, and looking for a remarkable escape from the hustle and bustle - this is the perfect place to spend a few days or a wedding.

Played here many times. The relaxed friendly atmosphere is perhaps it's greatest asset. The course had excellent winter conditions today, pace of play was beyond perfect, and the greens rolled true but are very challenging. Great company and a great round thank you.

Great golf course! Played here a few times. My teenage son loves it. Had his first hole in one on #12. Only negative is I wish the lady (Kelsey) in the grill was friendlier. Overall an awesome golf experience.

Hey I liked this course like I like virtually all golf courses. It played well, is in good shape, the greens were very fast and rolled true. Every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant, but then, I'm a friendly guy. I'm 67, have been playing about 15 years and have played literally all over the country. I had a very enjoyable round of golf here and the only drawback I could see was the price. $91 and change w/ the tax is very pricey, but I was willing to pay it, and would pay it again if we are back here. Carts are new and immaculate. Range was nice and convenient and part of the green fee. Bunkers are well sanded w/ white sand. Challenges for all level of player. Risk/reward shots abound. I'm an 18 handicap and I shot an 87. They don't allow you to walk if you're not a member. This irks me slightly, but I totally see why they do it.

The day before my scheduled round of golf, I checked in with the pro shop to confirm my tee time and get my bearings (since I'm visiting from another state), and found the gentleman manning the pro to be extremely rude and condescending. So, anticipating the worst the next morning, I was pleasantly surprised by the helpful and accommodating staff on duty that morning. The course itself isn't too difficult but -- and they gave fair warning -- most of the tees had been moved up because most of the tee boxes were being redone. Fair enough, although there were times when it was difficult to know where the next hole began. I was paired with a very nice gentleman who was also visiting the area and all in all we had a good time.

I thought it was a fun layout. The course renovations were great. Canât wait to play it again.

Greens are in very good shape as are the traps. Nice course. Holes vary from long to shorter. Can hit a couple Par 5s in 2 with some risk. Fairways in good shape for mid april. Some blind shots. I would play better second time around. 4 hour pace of play on a monday. Walking is allowed.

Fun and challenging course... Although it seemed like we caught them in the middle of construction (redoing the driving range as well as the tee boxes) and more than aerating the greens as described, it was still a fun course that I can't wait to play again and hopefully recoup all my balls I left in the drink there. I've played here 6-7 times and have always gotten good service. The pro shop staff aren't bubbly and cheerful, but hey - they're all 70-80 yr old men. They're very business like, but have never been rude. The course is always is great shape, and is a fun and fair challenge. In regards to the complaints about price - that's what golf costs at the beach. Sandestin's courses are way more than that if you're not staying there. Bottom line is, if you want a $40 goat track, or if you want to hit unlimited balls AFTER your round, go somewhere else. If you want a fun round of golf on a very well kept course, that's not in Destin or Panama City, this is your place.
